I'm ready to hire the coach for Memphis, the coach for the Cincinnatti Bearcats or UCF. Of course we won't look at them. Hire McCown as QB coach. If Wentz can't be fixed he can play instead(or Rivers) lol

How is that the answer now that teams have stopped Hurts? Would be an answer for our cap situation, but not the QB situation

I still think Hurts failures were orchestrated by Peedy.

Well they've interviewed a ton of candidates ... Bowles, Sirianni, Fassel, Moore, Brady ... and of course there is still Bieniemy and Kafka as well as Daboll, but he reportedly will stay in Buffalo ... can't say I blame him).

Based on Results Bieniemy is the guy...Maybe Howie would have to give up some juice to land HC candidates that want more autonomy than the Eagles are willing to give up.

Bieniemy is one of the hottest head coaching candidates this offseason and was last winter too. He has been with the Chiefs since 2013, spending five seasons as the team's running backs coach and three as its offensive coordinator. Kansas City has fielded the league's top-ranked offense in two of Bieniemy's three years as OC.          Of course, that's why we aren't looking(jebus we are stupid AF)

You are a really smart guy....RESPECT. There is NO sarcasm here. On point brother. Eagles did ask KC for permission to talk to Bieniemy after the playoffs.

Yep, I am out if Duce is in.  I need him to run something other than rotation of running backs before I put him in charge of my team. To me, that is just dumb. My opinion, but I feel a valid one. It will put the organization back another 4-5 years. Frankly, I not young enough to endure that. You all can like it as that is your choice. This is mine...

I would really miss your wisdom...I get your very Narrow vision that he would need to prove his worth as a leader in your eyes. Duce may end up being a last resort...Josh McDamiels was a cheat like Bellacheat...he can stay in NE... NE players  ALways failed our Birds, then went and made big money elsewhere.

Something needs to be said about Duces decade long loyalty to the Eagles.... the fact that he worked in many Offensive Regimes as a SB Champion player. He was also part of the Championship SB Eagles team.Duce has been in the league as a Champion player and Coach.Yet Stine  he is NOT worth our consideration...lol... You have contributed to Sooo many excellent Eagles opinions gotta say I'm a little surprised.

I thought Ped stunk(not as badly as Chip which isn't saying much). Maybe Duce would be no better than Ped, but in my view he can't be any worse. Howie's influence over this team is where the problems are. Ped was a QB who could not help a QB????. I like Bien which is why we aren't looking there

I have some reservations about Duces lack of HC experience. Duce as a player and as a coach he has Tons of experience, and has proven himself. His title here was Assistant HC... unlike Doug I suspect he should bring in a O and D Coordinators. These many years working for the Eagles his loyalty and commitment could be rewarded. The New HC faces an impossible Cap situation created by Howie.Duce is kinda home grown as a player and a coach. Bieniemy might be the " BEST" choice..only KC has a Mahomes...Unlikely Duce gets the job in my mind...think Duce deserves a shot.

Well I also imagine Bien and AR were HUGE pushers to draft Mahomes. and also pushed the GM(Veach RULES!!!!) to get those other acqusitions. It's very helpful when the "upper mgt" actually listens to those under them because they are CLOSER to the action and have a nuts and bolts understanding, than a GM who took a year following people around that now assumes for that minimal effort he is somehow a "football guy".If Howie would get his head out of his arse we may do something. But Lurie obviously believes Howies 1 year is enough to warrant him running the show and being a tyrannical boss who thinks he knows more than actual "football guys"

My choice is Bien, if Lurie has the cajones to tell Howie to sit down and shut up. If he doesn't Duce is our guy,and I'm sorry the longer we stay undecided, it's that much less time we have to indulge in asterisked player searches since they will be virtual this year. We started a week late with the Ped firing and now we are 1 of 2 teams still sitting around with no coach. We better have a dang coach before Monday!!!! We started out with nothing and still have most of it left

Why did we miss (again?) OH, I know, because NOONE wants to coach in this FO fiasco under some nitwits thumb who thinks he is a "football guy"

Or we didn’t want them

I’d pass on the Chiefs OC not impressed it’s ARs O he calls the plays he has been a QB guru since the start. Basically see it as doing the same thing as hiring Doug and expecting a different result.  Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over amd expecting a different result.

moght be a year early but Joe Brady is the guy that excite me the most I said that at the very start of this search

LOL right One took another job right after he interviewd here(Smith). I think it's the other way around, noone wants in the middle of this FO fiasco. Can you blame them? Also coming in with a QB  controversy and either you have a guy to "fix" or you have a rook to get up to speed ASAP. That drama BS is all besides scouting players, hiring your staff and fighting with the top brass. Not really a job someone is dying to have

Bien took over as OC in 2017,since then KC has been at the top offensively. That doesn't impress you?(yikes) KC was never even a playoff type team until they got this all together and got some of the best players while we shagged ourselves and strapped ourselves bringing back people who should be in rest homes

And Bien  has the talent to execute them. I guess Reich sucked to you also . I see Bien as a year or 2 behind Reich. So who is your pick(without naming 12 people?)

OH Btw if we offered this job to Bien, if he is smart he would say NO. Maybe thats why we never asked him LOL Howie hates rejection

Soooo AR has the talent on his team to call the plays and execute them... Sooooo what does Bein do???? basically Doug 2.0

Wtf are you talking about we asked for an interview with him can’t do an in person interview until after the playoffs and was up to the team to allow them to take video interviews.

Do you seriously think Duce did anything else different than he has the past 3 years? Give me a break...

That depends on how much slack DP gave him. Stout was run coordinator.

Something to bear in mind: The average Eagles head coaching search under Jeffrey Lurie's ownership is 22.25 days. This figure is skewed a bit by the 38-day process that ended in Ray Rhodes in 1995. But Lurie has never hired a new coach less than two weeks after a dismissal.

But we were just expecting a quick hire this time around lol

Did we even ask them for a virtual interview? Nope

If you are going to fire your HC, would you not have narrowed the list down already and have 1 or 2 top choices in mind? (nope not us lol) Like everything else here pure lack of planning

Lmao how many SB does Reich have as a HC again???? And Doug was the same exact thing as the KC OC so why you expecting a different result now????

LOL yeah got lucky one year with other people doing the jobs. Kinda weird the FAILURE after they left isn it?

Kinda weird how none of them have won a SB either lol 😂

IDK only year 1 for Reich. Hardly a comparison. SO, Ped was SO dominant and such a great coach we fired him. He got the SB because he had the STAFF.Once they went away FIZZLE CITY and if he was so good why was he fired?
