Probably the person who constructed the team of lawn chair WRs whereas with the Colts he actually had the pieces around him to succeed at the highest level. Call me crazy maybe if the team did a better job drafting and constructing the team over the last two years it never gets to that point.

Let's make sure that happens first....

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

A personal question would be, how long is your ding dong, are you a grower or a shower???

Thats s personal question.

Are you vaccinated is a medical question, next time one of the reporters asks about a players health, say, his knee or shoulder I expect him to say, that's a personal question.

And not everyone needs to be aware of everyone else's medical information.  You want to know.  He is not obligated to tell you.  It is a personal choice to be vaccinated or not, and its a personal choice whether one answers that question to a bunch of prying "journalists".    They can ask.  He can choose not to answer.

you do realize the Colts have had a top 10 oline for a couple years now, good wide receivers, a very good trio of backs in Taylor, Mack and Hines and a top 10 defense 2 of the last 3 years. That sounds pretty good way to have your QB have success

just gonna point out they didn’t have 2019 and 2020 drafts where the only player contributing so far at a high level was a RB.

If Carson is out for the season we can trade Hurts to the Colts in return for removing the 1st round conditions on the 2022 pick.... plus a conditional 5th rounder...

Sure.  We've got a former Super Bowl MVP on the roster... Let's go!!!

nu-uh. The best way is to draft like ish for 10 years straight, bring receivers off the street, o-lineman from a retirement home, and draft a position you don't need with your second pick.

I would be happy if the Colts win the Super Bowl with Wentz at the helm, provided that it wasn't the Eagles they beat in the process. But otherwise, sure, why not? I've always thought Wentz was an excellent quarterback, and I thought it was an asinine decision to trade him.

Okay, so I get it. If they make the playoffs and get knocked out in the first round, the Eagles would get the 20th pick or thereabouts. And 20th is better than 32nd.  That'd be a positive outcome too.

Whatever the case, I don't plan on rooting against Wentz. I think that's just juvenile.

I was more talking about the ones on here who still believed he was good and if he did that with the Colts proved that.

If Wentz ends up out for the season and Eason wins a SB there, I bet he retires.

Wasnt that his decision though.  He made it clear he didnt want to play for the Eagles anymore.  I mean they could have said screw you, you're under contract, we fired Doug to please you, you're staying put.  But they didnt.  They gave him his wish and sent him out.

I wanted him to stay as I thought Doug was the biggest reason for his regression. Was excited for him to work with a new coaching staff.  Oh well.

Yeah but things change year to year.  You know that.  Just because they had those things last year doesnt mean it will stay the same.  You never know if players might regress or they get hit with injuries.

I don't need to know if he's vaccinated or not I'm not in a room with him, I think that for a question during a football PC it's as silly a question as the it's personal response.

I disagree that's it's a personal question, it's an interpersonal question as his vaccination status effects those he is around, its not personal because it's not just about him.

Having said that that's not why a reporter is asking, the reporter is asking because those  interactions sell and, " inquiring minds want to know"👎

That’s true. however I made this point at the beginning of last year that their wide receiving corps was bad because you were relying on rookies during a pandemic to just hit the ground running, somebody who was just plain bad his rookie year and DeSean Jackson who could not stay healthy at 30 let alone 33. Your most consistent WR on the roster to be available and contribute was Greg ward. That’s says everything going into a season. Everything you said could happen however going into a season with that you basically are putting yourself in a bad position. the Colts going into the season are set up with the roster built to have success. I don’t believe that with the team last year at WR nor Lb and corner opposite of slay were good enough at the beginning of the season. Also asking peters to play guard when he really never played guard his entire career. Colts at the moment don’t seem to have any of that going on to enter the season.

and based off the premise if the pick was 32 it means he won a super bowl so I’d guess everything i mentioned held up that year.

If Dillard really isn't the guy, can we please start giving the reps to Jordan asap?

Things are often not a personal question, until they are asked of you.

He didn't choose not to inform the team, aka, the people he is working around.  He chose not to inform the reporters, whom he is separated from, is wearing a mask, and is outside.  Sorry... but just because you don't see it the same way as him, doesn't mean he is wrong.   Its up to him whether he shares with you or not.  He chose not.

And now the reporters can speculate the guessing game all they want, they can speculate wildly and make a mountain out of a molehill.

He could be trolling the reporters to watch them go bonkers.

Is Wentz 35? No reason a back-up QB should be getting time with the starters unless he’s injured

Which would also be a personal choice.   And a hilarious one.

Yes, he's injured, but they aren't worried about it according to reports

Honestly they really don’t have to be. They don’t play a game that matters until 1.5 months from now and unless it’s a lis franc he’ll likely be ready to go week one

Never said he was wrong, said it was a silly question and a silly response

I would have preferred no comment or next question or an allen Iverson Rant or maybe flip the table and attack the reporter just for entertainment value

It's personal though? That's a cop out, it's not personal, it's an interpersonal situation that effects us all.

He can choose to answer however he wants and his answer either way is going to have consequences, one of those consequences us people are going to talk about it either way.

This is my chosen response, it's not personal...

And again having said that I'll repeat,I'm sure that's not why the press asked, they asked because it's their job to ask
