Packers should have traded Rodgers before the draft.

Its risky and never easy to trade a historically talented franchise player, but you need to be able to read the situation and have the internal awareness to move on and get value before things reach the point of no return.

Wouldn't care one bit if they just did away with conference's.  As long as they keep the rivalry games, Ohio St-Michigan, Oklahoma-Texas, USC-Oregon, Bama-Georgia, etc.  These big name schools shouldn't be playing the Citadel or Southern Illinois Tech.  Big boys should be playing the big boys every week.

I dunno, maybe they think it hurts their overall brand? Who knows. I don’t see why you wouldn’t just say you got it if you did which would just shut out anymore questions. Plus these guys have all their health blasted to the public every week on the injury report so I don’t know why they want to incorrectly call HIPAA into this.

True but at this point the packers get nothing if he retires. They really should just trade/traded him to Denver and gotten the picks. Florio actually talked about this scenario where the packers might prefer rodgers not come all year and then deal him next offseason when there’s the potential for more teams in the market then just a couple weeks before the season (his assumption was he’d be a pain in the butt all year if he showed up and it would become a major distraction and problem internally)
