I sort of wanna go back and review all of his TD throws and see how many of them actually mattered. Ie not in garbage time. Somehow I barely remember any significant TD throws he made. There was that first one in Atlanta and the rest are just kind of a blur.

Lots of his statistics are late game aka empty calories. I'm pretty sure we actually were like a top five scoring team in the last 20 minutes of the game....but a lot had to do with prevent defenses letting us take our time to score

Clearly All-Pro/Pro Bowl numbers 🤣🤣🤣. Let's hope he does better this year 'cause it will take a LOT imo for Lowie to move on from him.

If anything I’d rather the Eagles explore a trade for Jordan Love over drafting one of these rookies, trading for Jimmy G, Wilson, or Watson, or signing one of these free agents. At least Love is still young and won’t cost as much as these other options.

Meh just cause Joe said it/wrote it then it’s definitely not likely to happen just out of Lurie spite. 😂

Well we know it isn't Rodgers or Wilson now, and I've stated many times that I don't believe Watson leaves Houston this year unless he's cut this off-season.

Some of you can stop queefing about people wanting Wilson now

Love is an interesting option. I think if you trade for Love though then you also move Hurts. It doesn't make sense to trade for Love and not play him right away. Because Love doesn't have much game-tape and you would really need to see if he is worth it long-term before potentially moving on in 2023.

I don't know much about Love so I can't really say if I'd support that move, but it shouldn't be completely dismissed.

Wilson could be lip service to drive up the price.  I have seen stuff like that said and then the player still gets traded.   If we make no move on a QB upgrade this year then I would trade one of the first this year for a first next year 10000%   This gives me the ammo to go up and get a QB if Hurts continues down his same path.

Nope. Wilson only wanted to go to Denver.

And it cost a bunch of picks & players, way too much.

I’d rather go that route if they were going to move on from Hurts, but honestly I doubt they have any intentions right now to move on from Hurts.

Considering I was hearing at least three first this trade wasn’t nearly as steep as people made it out to be. I’ll add the Eagles could have easily countered that offer so I think either they never really wanted Wilson or Wilson had no intentions of coming here. People need to start letting it settle in and that’s Jalen Hurts is most likely the Eagles starter.

He specifically said Denver was the only team he would go to.

I’m not surprised. Not even sure why everyone even thought any of these guys would want to come here.

I mean it wasn't 3 1st but it's still 2 1st and 2 2nds and a former first round pick in Can't who has been coming into his own and drew lock. That's a lot to give up for 33 yr old QB making 40 mill.

There is like 2 people that think hurts won't start the season... I think you need to settle in and realize you are basically talking to yourself at this point lol

Eagles made an offer for Wilson, they will make one for Watson as well. Only thing that matters is if Watson waives his NTC.

No one should have any doubt that the Eagles are aggressively looking to upgrade from Hurts, and will go all in if they are allowed.

Yeah it’s not over. Watson is still available, and people are still holding out hope for the draft. Seems like every quarterback in the draft is in the IWTETG section. There are IWTETG rumors for Watson and Jimmy G on the main page. Hardly seems like people have "settled in.”

Well that's there problem. You aren't going to convince them of anything. Unless you are subconsciously trying to convince yourself they won't do anything else? You know because Howie gonna Howie lol.

At this point it would be pretty effing stupid to not go into the season and see what what improvement were made from  Hurts.... This is coming from a guy that don't think he will amount to much lol.

It's just the smart play for right now IMO. Unless like some have said, something crazy happens.

Once all of these assumed options fall by the wayside I think more people will accept the fact he going to be here at least for 2022. Still though we got people around here stating Minshew is winning 11 games which is nuts. 😂

The running game was to damn good for them not to make it a big part of next year I don't care who the QB is. Some QBs will need it more than others but, I think it would be foolish to ditch it just cause you have a guy that could be a better passer. That is my fear with this FO is if they do get a better passer we go back to those asinine game plans from the first 6 weeks or so.

I think any QB can be successful with that run game and a QB friendly passing game.

I've never went one way or the other with the Minshew/Hurts debate.

I want this damn team to get built on both sides of the ball enough to make any QB thrive regardless of their strengths or weaknesses.

Couple of radio sports reporters talking on a Denver station says oh yeah the Eagles made an offer but he turned it down to come here and that means we definitely made an offer?  It's standard blowing smoke up your teams ass after a trade talk, happens in every sport in the world,  'oh yeah Lionel Messi turned down multiple offers to come to PSG because he loves the club' it means less than nothing.

Why would Wilson choose a team that finished last in it's division despite having a way weaker schedule than the other 3 teams last year, where he has to play Mahomes and Herbert twice a year and finish ahead of at least Kansas and the Chargers to have any shot of making the playoffs?  When he had a choice of two teams in the weakest division in the NFL?

Regardless if the Eagles made an offer or not why would the Seahawks even want Wilson in the division to begin with? With that being the case I agree why in the world would the Eagles make an offer for a guy they weren’t sure would even agree to come here? None of it makes a lot of sense. Now hearing that Watson is about to enter a plea of the 5th on his civil cases, brining that guy in seems like it would be a huge mistake no to mention they’re also bringing evidence to the grand jury on his criminal cases. Yikes on that guy.

Rapoport reporting the same, that Denver is the only team Wilson was willing to waive his no trade clause to go to (this year ... last year it was rumored to include 4 teams:  Dallas, NO, LV, and Chicago).  The link below states a couple teams made an offer but only mentioned Washington so who knows if Philly was one of the other teams.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/08/report-broncos-were-only-team-russell-wilson-wanted-to-go-to/

Anyway, glad it's over and we no longer have to worry about Roseman doing something dumb in an attempt to rectify a mistake he made 10 years ago.  If he really wants to rectify a mistake he can sign Wagner as a free agent since Seattle just cut him and make up for drafting Kendricks over him.

Better chance of Minshew winning 11 with this team than Hurts becoming a top 10 QB in this league.

There's only two people that need to "settle in" and they both work at NovaCare.
