But I haven't personally harvested one.

Bear (sometimes awesome, sometimes meh)

This is interesting to me.  Is it related to the time of year and their diet?  Due to age?   What do you think?

Caribou

Moose

Pheasant

Grouse

Walleye

Walleye is good.  I would assume Caribou is deer like in flavor.  Grouse must be similar  to pheasant.  What's moose like?

What's the deal on Jim Nagy? Don't know much about him outside of following in the lead up to the draft.

He's a former NFL scout and runs the Senior Bowl.

Very interesting...  Seems very different from venison.  Yet, both are deer.

Could they possibly be worse? I’m convinced I’d have more catches than JJAW at this point if we started together, and I’m a 5’11” white doode.

I’ll take JJaw there.

Speaking of the Calcaterra pick, didn't know much about him but looking at his highlights he reminds me a little of Ertz in that he's white, a TE and moves like him kinda, sorta.

Welcome to the Elite 8 of the tournament

If you’ve ever had reindeer, it’s effectively the same thing

Because they missed on Lance, they can't cut Jimmy G and pay Deebo.

A double-whammy.

Shocking development that a QB that was extremely raw, coming out of a lower division program, who missed almost the entire season due to Covid before the draft, would be underwhelming in the NFL early in his career.   He never should have gone that high.  Just nuts to draft him that high.  And here again, he's a guy that was a high volume running QB much more than a passer.   When will the NFL teams learn... it isn't really that complicated.   Focus on what they can do throwing the ball, reading the defenses, etc.  And see the running stuff as a bonus.

Probably what they eat. But I've had meat from the same bear that was good and then not so good. This fall hopefully I'll be eating some Maine bear. I've heard it's the best (due to diet)

Not really on the caribou it has much more fat marbled in the meat pretty close to beef in my book. Grouse is similar to pheasant. Moose is like a bigger deer but the fat taste better.

I also forgot I had buffalo it was just above venison for me right around elk

The Shanahan system is hell on young QBs. It's always vets that do better in it since it's a timing offense.

All about the fat. Deer fat is gross and sticks to the roof of your mouth like super glue

I need to try me some Caribou!   Where can one find it for purchase?

And... he was extremely raw coming in.   Just a poor use of resources for the 49ers.

If they had drafted Mac Jones, it'd be fine...Picked the wrong QB.

New Foundland around 5k and above.

Here's where my buddy "purchased" his. https://www.nfwo.ca/

Click on the lodge and look at the photo of the hunters in the front. See if you can spot me.
