Why is it funny? You want another QB who will fail? For what reason? The same reasons you didn't want Foles to win the Super Bowl? You're a fan of Hurts, but not a fan of the Eagles.

They will use their draft capital and go get one of the top QB's in a much deeper class, or Carson Strong works out and they move forward with him.

I was watching the podcast with McMullen and McDonald and they had Mike Garafaolo on. He said the same thing when Jody Mac (who was having a terrible day takes-wise) mentioned the Eagles might pursue Justin Fields if the Bears draft a QB in 2023. Garafaolo said the Eagles will make their choice after this season — either extend Hurts if he succeeds or draft QB in April. He said Fields is more or less the same as Hurts. McDonald also says he sees the Eagles kicking the can and end up playing Hurts through the last year of his rookie deal in 2023, which I believe has NO CHANCE of happening. Hurts isn’t showing up to any team activities without a fat extension in his hands

Even if it’s not a long term deal, there’s no way Hurts is here and starting and playing on the last year of a 2nd round rookie deal.

Nope, I would not move on from Mahomes ( Super Bowl winner ) Stafford ( Super Bowl winner ) Rodgers ( Super Bowl winner ) Wilson ( Super Bowl winner ) Allen ( Future Super Bowl winner ) Herbert ( Future Super Bowl winner ) Burrow ( Future Super Bowl winner )

His obvious tour de force was as Sonny in The Godfather, but I thought he was excellent in Brian's Song, and also in Cinderella Liberty, a very under-rated film of the early 70s.

Right, I'm not the one actively rooting for this team to come up short for two seasons now over dislike of the QB. It's funny because the people like you who hate Hurts and hate Lamar don't even realize that Lamar would be the most likely top veteran QB that they'd try to target in a trade.

Lamar was good two years ago, in 2019. Since then, he hasn't played as well and is injury prone.

I'm not rooting against this team like you were on OUR SUPER BOWL RUN. I hope Hurts wins MVP and takes us to a Super Bowl. But I would bet all the money I have that he won't. It's been discussed to death why. Why do you think they'd target Lamar, when they've tried very hard to get rid of the exact same QB (albeit a lesser version)?
