What? There is no reason for Talib to lose his job because his brother shot someone.

No, but "Aqib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred"

I'm referring to him coaching the team.  He and his brother are/were coaches for one of the teams.

Oh. I thought you meant his foxsports commenting job. I didn't know he was a coach there. I just knew he was there and "involved"

It's like trying to figure out what the heck   Kurt Cobain is saying when he sings but once one figures that out  Talib seems to be pretty knowledgeable about what's going on.

I never had a problem understanding him

Yeah, I don't know if it'll affect his broadcasting career, but I could understand a network axing him if it's bad press. Especially if his brother is found guilty of murder.  I don't think he should lose his job, but I def don't see how he can continue coaching that team.

Weird Al, Cobain, or Talib?

Weird Al was underrated, Cobain overrated, Talib is hit or miss.

He should lose his job because he sucks at it.

How the hell did William Dunkle get claimed? He’s on the Steelers now

Either. I could understand both. You can't/couldn't?

Ron Lyle and George Foreman was a helluva fight.

Frazier and Ali were very good obviously, but Foreman vs Frazier we’re just sad, styles make fights.
Early 70’s baby I was able to watch some of the really good welterweights- middleweights, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Leonard, and even Mugabi.
Peak Roy Jones is still probably the best I’ve ever watched live in terms of speed, power, and defense.
It will never be Fairweather, him and Pacquiao both ducked Cotto, until Maragarito put the plaster to him, then he was never the same.

He’s on Prime now as an analyst, fyi. I don’t think he’s calling games anymore

More than present.  I read that he was the instigator.

I bet it was the  Steelers accounting office that claimed him...

Former Los Angeles Rams standouts Aqib Talib and Andrew Whitworth are officially set to join Amazon’s broadcast crew for Thursday Night Football this upcoming season, per an announcement from the network.

The Ex Rams will join Tony Gonzalez, Richard Sherman, and Ryan Fitzpatrick as analysts for the streaming service, while Fox Sports host Charissa Thompson will serve as the main wraparound studio host for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football broadcast.

The All-Pro, five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl 50 champion last played with the Rams in 2019, his final season in the NFL. He spent two years with Sean McVay’s team, playing 13 games, contributing one interception and seven passes defended.

He also played in three playoff games, including the 13-3 Super Bowl LIII loss to the Patriots. All in all, he played 12 seasons in the NFL with the Buccaneers, Patriots, Broncos, and Rams. Talib finished his 13-year career with 35 interceptions. He announced his retirement from football in September of 2020.

Whitworth, who is also joining the team, retired this offseason following the Rams' 23-20 victory over the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. He spent 11 seasons in Cincinnati before finishing his career with the Rams from 2017-2021.

"Thursday Night Football” moves to Amazon’s Prime Video this year after having been on Fox Sports since 2018. Prime Video’s first Thursday Night Football broadcast will take place on September 15. The Rams will play the Raiders on Dec. 8 on Amazon.

Eddie vetter Kurt Cobain, most grunge singers just mumble through their lyrics, probably because they were stoned or drunk or both, one of the benefits of being a lead singer in a heavy metal band is no one expects to understand any of the words and everybody  expects you to be stoned🤷‍♂️

Having said that Nirvana wasn't/isn't my fave I like sound garden more, sadly Chris Cornell another talented musician much like Cobain left us too early.

Having said that I have a difficult time understanding what Talib is saying sometimes.

Then again I'm deaf In one ear and can't hear out the other

Probably too much heavy metal when I was a kid.🤘

"Play 5: A pass attempt over the middle intended for Dallas Goedert was batted down after a nice play from Kyzir White."

I think White will help us to win a few games. There were a few games where we would have won if we made just one more stop, and I think this man can be the difference.

The eagles had to do cuts today, right?

looks like they just tweeted

Okay? So were a lot of people.  There's a video of the whole incident out there.  It's not like Aqib was involved.

37% Said they didnt have Prime

I have prime and use it a lot. Game was always crystal clear and I loved how you could change who the commentators were in the audio setting for each game last season

Allentown PA, is a rough area.

High crime rate(top 5%) One of the more dangerous cities in those yearly rankings. Think he said like 30% live below poverty.

65% of his school was minority and 50% were considered at an economic disadvantage.

When I first dated his sister, (my current girl) he had a good team and within 3 weeks the starting RB was expelled(had d1 offers) and the starting QB was kicked off the team for sexual assault allegations.

That sucks.

sounds like any coach in that area has his work cut out for him
