Gainwell's strength is what he can do in the passing game. If that diminishes, he doesn't bring much to the table. I wouldn't even want him.

Excuse me, this is currently the music blog.  Come back later.

The untold manti te’o documentary is like a dumpster fire inside a train wreck (and so messed up how it went down) that you can’t stop watching

I think the Eagles should look in to an RB2 trade,  and it should be a guy who can start games.

People here won't like the value of trading for a RB. But I think it needs to happen.

Sounds good to me!

Entwhistle crushed JPJ and its not even close.  And then you have the third best rock drummer ever, Keith Moon, only behind the GOAT Neil Peart and Danny Carey.

The bolded did make me laugh though, don't hear that here in the states.

I agree.  John Paul Jones was the greatest American naval commander in history.

And probably a better bass player than that poofter from Zeppelin.

I like this discussion. It gives some context to who posts and the generations on this board. I will say that it was really cool to wait for the next Zeppelin, Who, Stones, etc. albums to come out. These were big vinyl events and what the "kids" all talked about.

Bit before my time but not a stones fan, not even a little, I just dont really like any of their stuff.

Zeppelin and the Who👍

Do not ever mention those posers Zeppelin in the same breath as the Who.

The Stones also are better than Zeppelin.

Funny that your criteria for Nirvana was how instrumentally  talented they were and they all looked or were high on heroine while performing yet called Zeppelin who were immensely musically talented and always high are overrated.🤔

They are a cheap imitation of The Who, and across the board, all members of The Who are superior.  And their songs suck, and they are ishy musicians ( jk ), or am I ????

And I never made the bolded statement, that was someone else.

Oh my bad I got mixed up.

Who are immensely talented.

I remember when they sang at the super bowl , the dudes house I was at who I didn't know very well almost kicked me out if his house when I said who was just ok😄

I thought his head was going to pop off, they're really  good and musically really talented And not my favorite but I really like them.

The spice girls were popular at one point what's the point?

Nirvana was wildly popular, I grew up through that madness, smells like teen spirit is an iconic song that ultimately killed big hair metal and ushered in grunge.

And I'll maintain Nirvana is still overrated

Doesn't mean I don't like them or they weren't good I just think people act like they're the best thing since sliced bread, maybe had Kurt not died they'd be up there with sliced bread🤷‍♂️

Also of note the offspring Also one of my favorites

You said Nirvana was more popular after Kurt died.  He said their highest selling album was when he was alive.  That's it!!!! That is the point.

I agree one selling a bunch of albums doesn't make one good.  It's opinion anyway.

You couldn’t be more wrong. The rhythm sections for both are equal, JPJ slightly better than Entwhistle, but Moon slightly better than Bonham. But in both cases, razor thin differences and really all could be considered equals.

Townsend vs Page is an interesting comparison, but Page blows Townsend away in guitar playing. Townsend was a better song writer tho.

Plant vs Daltrey is no contest. Daltrey was Ok, but nothing great. In fact it’s Daltrey who puts me off the Who the most. Plant is electric, and fantastic. Way better range too.

All that being said….they all pale in comparison to the God of Bass…

I did not say Nirvana was more popular after Kurt died, if I did that's not what I meant or I misspoke, I don't feel that way, like I said I was currently making dinner for my fam wrangling the neighbors dog and telling at my kids while texting my wife who was running late.

Through all that I'll maintain Nirvana is overrated.

If I said the were more popular after kurt died I mis spoke, do t have time to look back gotta feed my self now ...
