I can’t see Jets winning that game with Wilson at Qb. Frankly they might be better off playing Flacco then Wilson. And that’s saying a lot cause i don’t think Flacco is good either.

Wrong. Zach Wilson Comeback Player of the Year starts now.

Yup. He said the weather and no state taxes was hard to pass up lol

No state tax is imo is a major reason he choose Miami over ny.

with all that said, he would never go on an interview and say it, but I 100% believe he saw what Cooper Kupp did last year with getting all the targets from the Rams and putting up those type of numbers. And he said to himself if I got that amount at targets that Kupp got that i could put up the numbers he did and even better as he likely thinks he’s a better player

I guess the other thing about Simms comment is, it’s likely that we’re still a playoff team with Minshew. Prob not the number one seed, maybe not even the division leader.

Cincy, Buff and KC likely don’t sniff the playoffs without their starting QBs

Does that point to Minshew being a better QB than Brandon Allen, Old Chad Henne and Old Case Keenum or are you saying Cincy, Buff and KC have that bad of a roster.  Reality is that KC has Reid and Kelce (although Henne at this point is worse than Gardner).  Reality is Cincy may have better receivers than Philly and a stout D (although Gardner is better than Allen). The reality is Opie learned from JJ and Reid and has built a pretty good D.  Probably a wash between Keenum and Minshew.  Case doesn’t have much of an arm either and both are relatively accurate.

The reality is the Philly offense would change considerably with Gardner as QB.  The running game would suffer because it wouldn’t be dual threat.  The Eagles have the Number 1 run OL but in a pass dominant offense, it would not be as effective.

Simms grew up as a giant so anything he says about the Eagles is suspect.  His ability in the NFL (yeah, he got injured but the talent wasn’t there before his injury) wasn’t earth shattering. His skills as an analyst are pretty piss poor.

Agree with you. It’s funny people see the chiefs offense this year and apply it to their offense last year, when it just isn’t true at all

Yes I think the offensive drop off between the 4 teams would affect the Eagles the least, mostly due to the supporting cast. Hurts is certainly worlds better than Minshew, that’s inarguable

The Cowboys seem to be playing Tyron Smith at RT, a position he hasn't played since 2011. That's a choice.

I saw that. Seemed to be hyping him up pretty good too saying he makes it look easy. Odds are like peters he gets hurt at some point again cause that’s basically how he’s been the past couple years.

It's probably their best choice. Josh Ball stinks. Other than that, it's Peters. Tyler Smith is playing better than most thought he initially would at LT so it doesn't make sense to move him to a brand new position.

Peters isn't injured yet?

The gamble is that Hurts follows a Lamar Jackson trajectory with this year being Hurts’ ceiling. The timing of when that gamble is taken (by extending his contract) is undetermined,  it could be this year (technically this offseason) or next year or never (by trading him while his market value is high).

He said to take the risk for this year, after we've won the Super Bowl.   No risk for this year once the year ends.  I agree with you regarding future risk, but that's not what he said, which is why the logic was broken.

You love analytics. But only when it supports your argument?

We ran for 363 yards, but Green Bay was "in it”? Lol

Wrong

If a team is within 7 points, they are literally one play away from a tying/go-ahead TD.

He's likely going to win MVP this year and predictably you have people here that are still against signing Hurts and keeping him as the QB.

If a team never has a higher than 20% win probability the entire second half of a game, do you think that’s a "close” game?

Dude, stop obsessing on these "people".  It's a discussion board.  No one ever wins here.

Sit back and enjoy watching your boy succeed.
