I think Washington is on the rise. They have some good young players, like James Wood. I know a little bit about their roster because many of them played in Wilmington for the Blue Rocks coming up through the minors (most people wish we still had the Royals as our affiliate). They will be good in a year or two, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got hot in August and made a run for a wild card spot.

If the Phillies are going to get back into the race they are both going to have to have a long extended period of playing well but also a streak at some point. May as well get the streak out of the way right now.

They will get the streak "out of the way" today with Nola on the hill.
