Why i said they need another reliable guy that hits well with RISP. Stott, Turner and Harper are good. Bohm is ok. Rojas I’m not including cause he is playing once every 3 games now. Everyone else is not very good so far this year

Game over, nice hit hoskins

lol both these games were over so fast. Nice going Phillies

Kepler, JT and marsh back to back to back is awful. They are all bad hitters at this stage of their careers. Kepler hitting .221, jt .223 and marsh .211.

Yup, it's basically 3 automatic outs every time that part of the lineup comes up. Absolute garbage.

Phillies making Christian yellich look like an all star. This series’s he’s 5-7 with 5 rbi and 2 HRs.

Dave won’t admit marsh is a failure at this point for what they gave up to acquire him and Kepler is essentially a redundancy of marsh but older

Yeah, Dave is still waiting for Marsh to hit his stride. Enough already with this failed experiment. The guy stinks.

Trying to justify that trade. You already lost it when you dealt a top 100 prospect for a fixer upper type player. I’d have to go look but i imagine in the last 5 years the Phillies got the least proven player in marsh when dealing away a top 100 prospect.

Feels like a game they don’t score today. If they don’t score more than 3 runs would be the 4th time in 5 games. It’s cause they aren’t getting the benefit of facing the Rockies, A’s and pirates

F that team. When they suck they suck. People get all excited when they play bad teams. This is who they are.

This game is such a dumpster fire even Thomson couldn't watch anymore

Yup clearly we couldn’t use Rhys hoskins….

The thing that’s the most irritating about this team, is that the 3 biggest concerns we had going into the season where the bullpen and the two outfield spots outside of Castellanos. They are still the biggest problems on this team. Luzardo was awful today. But most games he is going to be good. The bigger problem is, they get little consistency out of centerfield and left field and their bullpen has had a regression from strahm, Kerkering is up-and-down, Romano is not reliable, Jose Alvarado shouldn’t have been relied on after how poorly he looked last year and the rest of the bullpen is just not very good.

So you have the same three problems we talked about this off-season that you didn’t actually fix. when you get to the harder part of their schedule next time they face the Mets (June 20) til all star break, you’re gonna wind up seeing how big of a flaw they are. You were able to build up the record you did because you had a very nice schedule in May outside of a couple of series. They aren’t winning a World Series or even getting to a WS with both kepler, marsh starting in LF and Cf and Romano, strahm and Kerkering being their big 3 out of the pen.

Yep and the GM who created/didn't fix the problem is the one who is going to be making trades. Honestly, I'd keep the young guys because this team isn't winning crap and he doesn't have a clue.

They will just make the excuse Harper is hurt

Besides Dave continuously failing to deliver a consistent bullpen, the biggest complaint I have over the last 2 1/2 years is they never replaced the production from Rhys Hoskins. You didn’t have to sign Rhys, but you should’ve replaced the production in that lineup. The fact that they thought Rodolfo Castro was gonna be the solution in 2023 was stupid. The fact that after they lost the diamondbacks and realized that their bullpen was an issue but also they needed somebody in the middle of that lineup and didn’t do anything was idiotic. The fact that they thought Kepler was just gonna magically be what he was 3-4 years ago at 32 years old coming off a down year and injury season was bad logic.

They are going to resign Realmuto and let Schwarber walk because they have no catcher in waiting, and big clutch hit by marsh there

Nothing like Kepler and marsh stat padding down 17-2

Maybe we should call up Crawford

Yikes. If that was a horse they would have shot it.

Horse might have been dead before they got the chance

Why did they leave Luzardo in for so long? Can't be good for his psyche.
