June 5, 20251 yr See the concern with Abel…and granted he’s young and all young pitchers are a bit erratic….he rapidly lost his ability to throw strikes there. That was a complete loss of the ability to pitch. Need to control the fatigue and decline with more reliable mechanics and location than that,

Meanwhile they really just needed a reliable 5th starter in the offseason. The issue is you are spending $10 mil on Kepler who’s going to give you worse production than 2024 marsh across the board besides less Ks and maybe slightly more homers. And Romano making $10 mil has been awful outside of 2.5-3 weeks. Better off just playing marsh in LF and Rojas in cf then using $20 on better relievers.

Guess we won't have to hear about him making the all-star team anymore.As bad as Luzardo has been, how about this no show offense for like the umpteenth time. It would be one thing if they were losing 8-6 but this is pathetic. A whopping 2 hits so far. Over paid chumps. How about someone in the Philly media start putting heat on DD and his roster construction. Not gonna hold my breath.

Turner, Castellanos are fine. But really everything else has been crap like paying Walker $18 mil. Or signing Nola to a 7 year deal. Or dealing for Castro. I’d him credit for Hoffman but Harper went to the FO said bring him in cause he was close with him. For the amount of resources given to him and roster this team shouldn’t be inferior to the Mets. Yet here we are
