September 5, 20241 yr He threw three slop pitches to Schwarber to offset his aggressiveness. Worked well unfortunately.
September 5, 20241 yr Has Turner ever walked? Pretty sure the broadcast has almost missed his last 2 at bats because he’s just flailing away at the first pitch. If he could someone learn plate discipline and how to actually work a count, he would be the most dominant player ever.
September 6, 20241 yr Really hoping Stott can turn it around. He did for 11 games where he was hitting like .368 for. Not realistic to hit .368 but then the next 8 games he was .167.
September 6, 20241 yr Kody Clemens has arguably been our best hitter outside of schwarber over this week. He’s had great at bats and clutch hits
September 6, 20241 yr Ranger being removed after 5 innings and 82 pitches. Said they were going to go higher next start. He threw 4 more pitches then his last start.

September 6, 20241 yr Credit to Ruiz. He was shakey out of the AS break cause he inherited some guys and let them score like the Yankees game. But he’s been good since that Yankees disaster

I think of Stott the same way a lot of Eagles fans think of Gainwell; I guess he serves a purpose but it would be pretty easy to upgrade there

One of the better second baseman defensively. His bat has regressed this year. If he was hitting like 2023, we likely don’t have some of the offensive issues we do. frankly if he isn’t good at the plate again next year, then they likely move Turner to 2b and miller takes over SS in 2026

Same record as the Dodgers The 7 games against the Mets are going to determine who makes the playoffs between the Mets and Braves. the Phillies have a chance to really put it to the Mets and knock them out of it. the Braves schedule it’s pretty easy over the next two weeks outside of the 4 games vs. the dodgers. They play 3 vs. Toronto, 1 vs. cincy, 4 vs. dodgers 3 at cincy and 3 at marlins. Finish with 3 at Mets and 3 vs. KC. The thing with the Royals is with how the American League WC looks right now they might have already clinched with 5-6 games left so they might sit guys.
September 6, 20241 yr Some random thoughts what was that throw by Clemens? horrible mechanics, can't do that in October nice to see Stott get some hits, our lineup is so much better when he gets the job done 5-game winning streak and 8 of 10 ; magic number 15 ; how you feeling now @John Blutarski ? Rojas finally gets another hit Marsh with another hit and run scored, he's done pretty well over the last 10 games Castellanos cooling off a bit though he has hit some balls hard but right at people Looking at the schedule, we have a 10 game stretch with 7 against the Mets H/A and 3 away at Milw. That stretch will determine how we end up vs. LA/Milw and whether there is any late drama for the East. If we take care of business over the next 6 games then that stretch won't seem daunting heading into it.
