September 4, 20241 yr Need to dodge another bullet then with Harper. We have had quite a few guys dinged up with things keeping them out for a couple weeks this year.

Really should consider wearing flaps on both elbows and hand protectors going forward. Feel like he gets hit in the hands and elbow more than anyone

September 4, 20241 yr Would’ve liked to see Francis throw more than 6 pitches that inning so we could get him out of the game and into the blue jays bullpen. At 89 pitches he’s likely back out for the 7th.

September 4, 20241 yr Sosa did his job sacrificing the runners over to 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. Castellanos and Stott failing to come through. 0-4 with RISP
September 5, 20241 yr Last week Arrighetti couldn’t be hit by the Phillies. Today he gives up 9 earned runs in the 1st inning against the Reds
September 5, 20241 yr Speaking of that '93 team, if you haven't watched this then it is a must watch. If you lived thru it then it will remind you of why you loved that team so much and if you didn't then it will be a great lesson Phillies' history. This team was the equivalent of the Eagle Buddy teams or those old Flyer Broad St Bully teams in terms of capturing the maximum amount of love possible from the city. Too bad only the Bullies actually won the title. Note: I don't really think the 76ers had an equivalent team that stood out like that but if they did then it was probably that '76-77 team that lost to Walton and the Trail Blazers in the final.
