When he gets going he can absolutely carry a team. He didn’t shoot well from 3 last year, but he was also rookie. And he didn’t get consistent time. Which might be the case this year. He needs to improve his shot selection at the nba level and work on being a shooter/scorer without having the ball in his hands as much. I do think he is an NBA player. More of a bench/role player. He needs to work on his handle more. Its solid. Would like him to be better so he can play more point as he’s slightly undersized for SG. Defensively he has good athleticism so i think he can be a solid defender. He was at Arizona. He had a lot of "baggage” coming with him from UNC. I talked to some of the coaches here and I got to meet him multiple times, a lot of it was a bunch of BS that was put out there when he left that was not truly. Kind of look what’s going on with Jaylen Brown now and a lot of it turned out to not be true. His teammates absolutely loved him. I know the coaches absolutely loved him. He has been one of their favorite players to have come through since Tommy Lloyd has taken over. That’s how much they loved him.
July 3Jul 3 Love is another 6'3'' guard. Rupert is 6'7'' which is different and nice. Looks like neither of them shot the 3 ball well at all. But, theyll try to develop in the G League. Rupert got pretty solid playing time in the NBA already and seems like he can be a nice defender.

Apparently LA has the cap space to absorb that contract. We could team up Bronny with his dad.

Cause they talked about he went off script and that’s why they were out scored with him on the floor. The bigger issue the Celtics had is that they somehow believed the roster around them was good enough. Brown basically made that roster into a 2 seed. When they went into the off-season last year after Tatum tore his Achilles, they thought they were gonna be a fringe playoff team. They were the two seed.The bigger issue to me is that Boston overvalues all the other players on that roster. Mazzulla is not as good as a coach as they think he is. They had a stacked roster in 2024 and Brown was a big catalyst for them winning in that postseason. The Celtics roster has gotten worse over the last two years. you’ve seen mazzulla not be able to coach it up in the last two playoffs. It’s why the Sixers came back and beat them. He had no plan for when Embiid came back. once the 3s stopped hitting, he had no adjustment on offense. Add on Stevens constructed a mediocre roster and brown got them a 2 seed until Tatum came back

I have seen people saying that Boston is still going to be really good this year with Robinson, Tatum, PG, White, and Pritchard and Mazzula's system.But, the team is clearly worse off now. And we will see if he can really coach them up.That team doesnt seem capable of hanging with ours now.
