When he gets going he can absolutely carry a team. He didn’t shoot well from 3 last year, but he was also rookie. And he didn’t get consistent time. Which might be the case this year. He needs to improve his shot selection at the nba level and work on being a shooter/scorer without having the ball in his hands as much. I do think he is an NBA player. More of a bench/role player. He needs to work on his handle more. Its solid. Would like him to be better so he can play more point as he’s slightly undersized for SG. Defensively he has good athleticism so i think he can be a solid defender. He was at Arizona. He had a lot of "baggage” coming with him from UNC. I talked to some of the coaches here and I got to meet him multiple times, a lot of it was a bunch of BS that was put out there when he left that was not truly. Kind of look what’s going on with Jaylen Brown now and a lot of it turned out to not be true. His teammates absolutely loved him. I know the coaches absolutely loved him. He has been one of their favorite players to have come through since Tommy Lloyd has taken over. That’s how much they loved him.
Friday at 05:56 PM4 days Love is another 6'3'' guard. Rupert is 6'7'' which is different and nice. Looks like neither of them shot the 3 ball well at all. But, theyll try to develop in the G League. Rupert got pretty solid playing time in the NBA already and seems like he can be a nice defender.
