Friday at 11:20 PM4 days summer league should be fun.Philon, of course. These two 2 way players today seem like they can play. Not shooters, yet. Hopefully thatll come. But they can play. Rupert is 6'7'' with a 7'3'' wingspan. Love that.Big Fish from Hawaii is like a stretch 5 we have been needing.Team is rounding out.

Some of the stuff that’s been put out. There doesn’t even make any sense especially because Jayson Tatum when he was on the floor the last two games the Celtics were outscored by 20. So if Brown wasn’t making the team better neither was Tatum. So that argument makes no sense.Somehow Portland Trailblazers and their narrative on brown got drawn into this. They are morons as makes Ja Morant is an idiot off the court and has been a winning player in years. Also their owner is a cheapass (cheaper than Harris) trying to avoid hotel fees and paying his HC who did an awesome job this year.New criticism I saw today about Brown was that they felt he want "off script" too much.Well, in the playoffs when you need ISO players in the half court, whats your #1 scorer going to do?

Cause they talked about he went off script and that’s why they were out scored with him on the floor. But if that’s the case, Tatum was outscored when he was on the floor the last two games of that series (games he played… was by 20). The bigger issue the Celtics had is that they somehow believed the roster around them was good enough. Brown basically made that roster into a 2 seed. When they went into the off-season last year after Tatum tore his Achilles, they thought they were gonna be a fringe playoff team. They were the two seed. The bigger issue to me is that Boston overvalues all the other players on that roster. Mazzulla is not as good as a coach as they think he is. They had a stacked roster in 2024 and Brown was a big catalyst for them winning in that postseason. The Celtics roster has gotten worse over the last two years. you’ve seen mazzulla not be able to coach it up in the last two playoffs. It’s why the Sixers came back and beat them. He had no plan for when Embiid came back. once the 3s stopped hitting, he had no adjustment on offense. Add on Stevens constructed a mediocre roster and brown got them a 2 seed until Tatum came back

I have seen people saying that Boston is still going to be really good this year with Robinson, Tatum, PG, White, and Pritchard and Mazzula's system. But, the team is clearly worse off now. And we will see if he can really coach them up.That team doesnt seem capable of hanging with ours now.
Friday at 11:48 PM4 days Knicks definitely misplayed their plan at the center position, and they know it.
Saturday at 03:29 AM4 days Bahamas beat Jamaica today 123-74Buddy Hield scored 15VJ Edgecombe scored 26. 9 rebounds. 5 steals. I have read that Edgecombe made 6/11 from 3, and I saw highlights of a bunch of dunks.Eric Gordon is apparently just there for leadership. He did not play.

Saturday at 02:44 PM3 days As much as I'd like to have traded Embiid (and that was like 5 years ago I was calling for it)....I think at this point, with Embiid, Brown, VJ and Maxey and the James, you roll the dice, take one final swing with that group and see if you can win it all. Then if you don't, James retires....you 'ol yeller Embiid or trade him off in any way shape or form possible, and move forward with VJ, Brown and Maxey which is not a bad re-starting point.

Saturday at 10:40 PM3 days There is a "growing belief" from people around the league that LeBron James will sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Marc Stein and Jake Fischer of The Stein Line. There are whispers that the Cavs are delaying offseason transactions, like signing a new deal with James Harden, because they want to have open roster spots in case they need to trade for Bronny James.
