You can’t force a team and business to make who you want the face of the company. You are just buying into the cheap obvious theatrics at play. This is obviously orchestrated just like how Snyder setup that huge millions dollar fund for Native American tribes to get them to side with him.

Better tell the native American group they are only "cheap theatrics".I'm sure they would be appreciative

He so clearly has been leading since day one. He welcomes each player to the team…as soon as they become a member. I don’t see him needing to he too rah rah

The other 31 QB's don't welcome new guys to the team?

It’s kind of smart in some ways. They need to use these streaming companies to figure out all the best ways to do it. They don’t have the expertise they do. So it basically works out to where they get free pro advice on how they need to do things. It is a much better way of going about business than paying tons to some computer geek company to try and figure it out. Which is what they’ve been doing so far.

Just allowing Brazil to make some money at the expense of AMERICAN NFL fans

Can I state.... you give this Washington team way too much of your time.   We are getting older now,not worth our time on this stuff.  Like worrying about the color of the napkins at a wedding...a wedding that's not even yours.   Who cares about Washington's team name?   Whatever it is , it will be below the Eagles in the standings, that's all that matters.

It relates to the NFCE. Feel free to scroll past it,no need to comment. It's worth it to me to because they should not have caved to the woke to start with, but it's football related unless you want me to list all other businesses that caved as well. "They" tried to get GB to drop the "Packers" and were told to pound salt,so they are the Washington WUSS until they decide that THEY run their business, not some outside trash. What if "they" wanted to force the Eagles to change names because they are an endangered species? Maybe the Philly Robins suits you better?

Like for me....a guy that can intercept a ball and run it back 100 yards is a playmaker....like what Sydney Brown did last year.

Slay is his own biggest fan, looking forward to when we move on from him.   One of the guys it is being talked about,  by the former players, who was just looking out for himself last year. Similar to Reddick.

You can tell these guys...Similar to Alshon.... having one year of team success is enough for them, then it goes back to me, myself and I as the 3 most important things to them.   Soft mentality ... " it's not my fault we lost"

Basically it's Slay talking about himself like Ham does with Hurts.   Nothing good for the team having that around. No matter how good a guy could cover back in 2022.

I think you just have a bad read on the guy. He’s a confident quality vet. He’s far from all about himself. He’s immediately embraced all the young guys. Told Ringo last year that he needs to take his job. He’s a true pro that knows how to prepare right for the season. Teach these kids how to prep for these receivers. I really think it a huge step up for these kids to have this one season with Slay. That vet mentorship. Like Davis and Carter got from Fletch. Kelce gave to Cam. It’s the right way to do things if you can. Keep passing the torch.

Which #3 WR do you consider an elite level #3?

Like I said I’m not looking for elite really….but at least good. This guy can really punish teams because of his matchup he’ll draw. Become crucial in case of injury obvious also.

Sounds just like you just described Hurts eh? (All bias aside replace the word Dak for Hurts) And just a quick reminder that they lost a game because of Dak being 2 inches short at the GL and I'm sure you will successfully argue Hurts HAS won a playoff game.....in 2022. Now he needs to get back there again, then avoid making bonehead mistakes when it matters and even us "haters" would love to see that

To me anyway, Hurts has convinced me he can handle the pressure of the big moments. Dak does nothing much for me as a QB. I don’t care much for a regular season player. Need a postseason player.

IDK at what point is the trade so big(or expensive) that it infringes on your top players? You go too high that guy is going to want to start/play. That defeats the purpose of them being a BU. I'm looking at players that are good, maybe in the last few years of playing. Who love the game enough to stay in,maybe lost a step and are ok with a BU role, but could still be effective with some tweaks by the coordinators(either side of the ball) and will play for not so high an investment. All those criteria are hard to find. Bark was a godsend(watch the interview that put him into FA) great value there and Howie recognized that enough to sign him to a 3. IMO Thomas fits all the above criteria. Of course I am not in his head, but I'm sure he understands his playing days are closing out soon. I really would not want to infringe on Smiths target share. After all he is one of the big money players and to reduce his share for a "cheap" guy would just be cause for him to get upset and find a team he can play with. I mean maybe he can get the same stats in the slot, but Hurts would need to find him and the middle of the field has always been an issue with Hurts,so as far as WR goes it can't be anyone that threatens to take the #2 away. I keep forgetting we have Ross.I have no info as to what they think about him. if Ross can play, then we don't need Thomas, but there is not enough info,so Joe is correct that we need to "wait and see what we have". I was wrong on that and Joe is right on that point

Three Wr pretty much are starters. That isn’t an issue. AJ and Smitty just got paid….so target share to make sure they get the next contract shouldn’t be a huge deal. I mean everybody wants their stats and the ball. I don’t think we can afford to go after like an Aiyuck like I said. But need something other than a young unproven developmental project or a aged over the hill vet.

Ham puts out something that he know isn't going to happen... this way he has something to complain about later and can say " I called it, this is what I would have done"

We got the Saints to do that stupid trade.... he couldn't concede forever that it was an easy decision to take that trade.

When we were kids there was always that Cowboys fan somewhere... the kid looking for attention.  Similar situation here.

Does that effect if the Eagles win a Superbowl?

Pardon me for prioritizing winning a SB that I felt confident before the season was the best setup I’d ever seen. Most teams trying to go ‘all in’ typically trade the future picks to go ‘all in.’ Not trade away current picks for future picks. But I was telling you I seriously could have seen us taking the WR Thomas in the first round. Would have been a huge boon to our O. I do understand that’s being a bit greedy. But always a medium level sure handed Wr comes on the block. It’s guaranteed every year. That third WR is a starter. It’s an important job.

Why does he #3 have to be the same guy that would start outside if one of the two pro bowlers goes down?    I see it as two different roles.

Postseason in Tampa... or postseason without AJ... not exactly a strong endorsement

I think we should trade for elite level backups everywhere....  I think the tickets and parking should be free.... lets just keep throwing unrealistic scenarios out there... but i'm just wanting better for the team and fans.

you don't prioritize winning the Superbowl.    If the Eagles were to get to the playoffs... Hurts got injured... and then the Eagles won the Superbowl... that would be hell for you.  Right now your agenda... " it's not Hurt's fault"

But for a year we had to hear how a rookie UNPROVEN safety was going to be the key to winning the Superbowl, so the Saints trade wasn't good.

It's funny how you spin things your way when it fits the agenda.

Only Hurts.

This is your response to all the absolute above and beyond leadership Hurts demonstrates. Sure other guys do some of each of these things Hurts does so routinely. Plenty of them don’t do much of any of it. ARod was out in Egypt and didn’t even attend mandatory OTAs. But you just gotta down play all that Hurts does. The guy is a competitor. He eats and lives football. Nobody works as hard as he does. Nobody wants to win more than him.  Sure maybe he isn’t 6’5”. Can’t throw the football out of the stadium like Mike Vick. Maybe not a rocket scientist. But he tries to max out what he can do. He lifts to make his body in a way I can’t really say I’ve seen a QB have. He uses that to great success converting short yardage at the highest percentage I’ve ever seen. Never been anybody better at doing that. He studies tirelessly.

I just can’t understand how anybody wouldn’t root for him. I find him very easy to root for. He isn’t some spoiled athlete just riding by on his talents. He doesn’t sleep through meetings. He seems to embrace every player around him. He has that effect. I knew he was our guy over Wentz that rookie season…because I saw how his teammates responded to him. He has an effect on the D players you just can’t even see or grasp. His rookie season he came in and the D played inspired and stepped up. Fletch and BG caught on mic talking about how the opponent doesn’t realize how we have Hurts. They believe in him. Whether it comes true or not…every teammate believes he will find a way to win each game. He has that unstoppable competitive spirit. He refuses to lose. He hates it with a passion! Last season he was not letting our team slack off because we were 10-1. You heard him preach how they weren’t playing at a level that was enough to get where he wanted to go. He understood…we were squeaking out victories versus any level of opponent. Which is great to know how to win. But clearly wasn’t going to be enough to beat the Niners or do any real damage in the big games.

Welp,Hurts had difficulty finding Quez who was sub standard IMO,so Hurts needs to locate these guys every play. That's why I keep harping on Hurts deficiencies. if you look at Hurts passing charts you will see very few passes in the middle of the field. That needs to change. Possibly Quez was not good enough to offer a window, that will change. Now it's on Hurts to find these guys. Hurts needs to now stand in and get through the progressions instead of the panic run after 1 or maybe 2 reads

I‘M absolutely fine with that. I listen to what most anybody has to say. I’ll take it into account when forming my opinions. But I know some football. I educate myself enough about our franchise to form very educated decisions. I have the capacity to seperate my love for players and coaches and call things like I see them.  A stud like Kelce even makes mistakes sometimes. Rosie is a key example of a guy that I constantly discuss his positives and negatives. I weigh in with my opinion in real time. As they happen. Nobody is perfect and brilliant all the time.

SO showing a chart of assembling the best NFCE team brings a SB to Philly also? If you are unhappy with a post just ignore it. I'm sick of the woke BS and will fight that whenever I can. Feel free to ignore me
