I’m glad he’s gone, didn’t care when, now or later. I hope GB picks him up, he can go do podcasts with Micah.

Reading the highlights from Patullo’s presser. Goodness. No wonder the second half offense sucks.

ESP says Eagles should play Howel instead of McKee and also sign a kicker to rest Jake Elliott for this final game.

The KP offended summed up perfectly. No rhyme or reason to anything, they just call plays to call them.

That detailed huh

Guys, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm starting to think that Kevin Patullo just isn't a good offensive coordinator.

Totally agree. That guy is clueless. I don’t usually put a lot of stock in pressers but this is consistent with what we see

Why don't the bottom 10 teams waive 6 soon to be free agents on December 1st to tank better and save money?

Keep the ones who will be part of the formula and cut the rest.

Chaos.

8 time PB, 2x 1 team AP, 5x 2nd team, All Decade (2010’s) Team and a Ring…dude was one of the best OL in the league for a long time.

Remember with Diggs that Kraft is a criminal and supports sex trafficking.

The Patriots will do nothing.

The NFL needs to put him on paid leave.

Sadly, he'll still be playing as long as a team thinks he's still good. Something like this never stopped anyone before. Joe Mixon, Kareem Hunt, Antonio Brown, Deshaun Watson, etc. One of the owners once said "if Jeffrey Dahmer ran a 4.3, we'd call it an eating disorder."

Can afford him, smith and hunt in 2026. It’s really 2027 offseason have to make a decision as smith is on 5th year option and hunt entering his last year of his deal. If you pay Phillips then likely can only keep hunt or Nolan smith long term. I brought this up a couple weeks back. I made the argument the eagles may go with hunt over smith. He is just scratching the surface of the position. He made the transition to the position and he can keep improving. As much as i love Nolan smith, he has not been extremely durable since college. While he still has upside, i kind of think hunt has more ceiling and is really beginning to take off.

These next 2 off-seasons are going to be very interesting in terms of which defensive players you keep. The potential puzzle piece combos are going to be fascinating. Each move causes domino effects. So you have to look at it in terms of priorities. How would you rank them (I have no idea because of the various permutations). These aren't my rankings, just food for thought...
2025 offseason decisions
- According to Overthecap.com they currently have about $31M in cap space in 2026 (or which $11M is "rollover from this year). However, from that subtract the following:
$5M - rookie pool (which could change of course with draft pick trades).

$5M - practice squad
$4M - in-season "cushion"
That leaves you with $17M.
However, they will surely cut Michael Carter, which saves $9M. There are no other obvious cuts that leave you with significant savings. There are also no cap savings to be had with restructures as all high paid veterans are already on minimum salaries and getting big option bonuses that are already prorated over 5 years for cap purposes.
So that leaves $26M in cap space.

With those cap restrictions, and keeping in mind that you are going to have to make decisions to extend Coop, Q, Hunt and Nolan Smith in the 2026 offseason, you likely are only going to be able to resign/extend 2 of the following 5 players. If you don't extend Jalen Carter, you could possibly get 3 of them.

  • Jalen Carter. A potential cornerstone that you can build around. But also a guy that could bring you a massive draft haul to rebuild the aging offensive core and allows you to keep more of your defensive pieces. Questions are durability and maturity. Best comp: Chris Jones.
    Likely contract: 5 yrs/$150M (Practical 3/$100M).
Can be done w/ cap hits of $11.2M, $14.6M and $19.3M from 2026-28.

  • Jordan Davis. Made the leap to difference maker. Can he improve as pass rusher and be as good w/o Carter next to him? Best comps: Christian Barrmore, Nmandi Madibuike.
Likely extension: 4/$99M (Practical 3/$63M, of which $51M is "new" money).
    Cap numbers: $6.3M in 2026 (savings of ~6.5M), $10.2M in 2027 & $13.3M in 2028).

  • Jaelen Phillips. Fits great but has an injury history. Signing him basically guarantees that either Smith or Hunt leave after 2027. Best comps: George Karlaftis, Greg Rousseau.
    Likely extension: 4/$90M (Practical 3/$57M).
    Cap hits: $5.9, $9.4M and $12M from 2026-28.

  • Moro Ojomo: Can thrive next to Carter or Davis. Only question is would he sign an extension now after seeing Milton Williams break the bank last year after exploding in his 4th year? His price is only going up. Comps (today): Tershawn Wharton, Javon Kinlaw.
    Likely extension 4/$60M (Practical 3/$45M)
    Cap hits: $5.2M, $7.7M, $9.7M from 26-28

  • Nakobe Dean: Issue is durability. Also causes Jihaad Campbell to sit another year till Baun leaves after 2026. Comps: Ernest Jones, Jordyn Brooks.
    Likely contract: 3/$25M (Practical 2/$18M)
    Cap hits: $3.2M, $4.5M in 26&27

    2026 offseason decisions
    - Resigning Coop and Q are the top priorities. Locking up Hunt a year early should also be on the table. They can let Nolan Smith play another year on the rookie deal. Of course, if they let Phillips go, you could see them try to extend him as well.
    - This is going to be the offseason there is likely to be massive changes on offense. The rising salary cap numbers for the young defenders they resign in 2026 is likely going to result in them having to part ways with older, higher salaried offensive players. Even without that, their veteran contracts were written in a way that the 2026 offseason was the "decision point" year . Cutting and/or trading any of the following players after 6/1 results in significant cap savings (those that aren't cut can be renegotiated to lower their cap numbers):
    AJ
    Saquon
    Lane
    Mailata
    Dickerson
    Smitty
    Baun

    - Given the wealth of other talent of defense, and the need to replace many of these veteran guys with young, cost controlled players are the reasons I have a suspicion that the team could be looking at Jalen Carter as having as much value as potential trade bait as they do as a player.
    - Hurts's contract was also written for this to be the year for them either to cut him or, as is almost certain, renegotiate an extension that lowers his $43M 2026 cap number.

You’re better at these things than I am but he did have a $9m injury guarantee that vests March 17. Maybe that has something to do with it? I expected him to be a post June cut myself. IDK.

That vested on March 17, 2025. It was for $9 million of his 2025 pay, which he has basically cashed through salary and active gameday bonuses.

Yeah as far as OL go, he's a shoe in. How's this even a debate?

Maybe, but his back isn't causing him to whiff so spectacularly so frequently. Getting overpowered I could blame on the back, completely whiffing is something else.

A little of this…a little of that. It’s seemed slightly better but the hurrying to the line and hurrying to get everything out pre snap causes a lot of issues. Blocking is one of them IMO. The O as a whole (from the HC on down) is an issue this year. Outside of Smitty, Geodert and sometimes AJ, everyone else has been disappointing for most of the year.

He is a true OG….which has its own stigma for the HOF it seems, but the resume is there.

What does she mean she "thinks" she's owed a month's pay??

I have zero doubt Diggs may have done this, but I also need to ask whether she's a professional chef in the way other people are professional babysitters ....

I think he's likely to make it, the question is when.

Does Yanda make it over Jahari Evans? I doubt they both go in at the same time. Evans has more first team AP's, Yanda has more second team AP's and PB's.

There's also guys like Steve Wisniewski who never got in. He's got almost identical accomplishments as Yanda. 2 first team AP, 6 second team AP, 8 PB's just no Super Bowl ring.

Wow, not only is Schotty a worthless dunce, he is also a scrooge level scumbag.

That's not going to help with the recruiting.

Just another reason Brian Flores would never be Dallas DC. They are a bunch of stupid and nasty clowns.
