EMB Blog: 2025 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

Featured Replies

This is a really simple concept.

If your kicker makes 1 out of 10 FGs in the playoffs and you still win the SB, you still move on from him.

If your DB gets burnt deep 7 times in 4 playoff games but you win the SB, you still move on from him.

If your OC is the worst OC in the NFL and possibly the worst OC in NFL history then you move on even if you win the SB.

DUH!

Overcoming a cancer is not a reason to embrace the cancer.

Who are you pointing at with that post? Which players?

I haven’t looked fully into things and don’t understand them that well but I saw Dallas G cost us I think it’s somewhere around 20 million in cap space next could that be spread out if we resign him to a new contract?

Can't see that happening. He took a big pay cut this year, and is likely looking for one last deal that gives him somewhere between $20-25M guaranteed, which is Mark Andrews/Juwan Johnson territory. No way the Eagles are going to pay that. Plus, in fairness, while his receiving stats are up, his blocking, which had always been a strong point, has been atrocious this year.

It was the concept of if they win the SB then Patullo must stay because winning.

So we trade Hurts even if we win the SB…

What if we win the SB and the O plays well in the game? Honestly any scenario where we win the SB is great.

So if your qb is the least prolific passer in the nfl…?

I wouldn't even say his receiving stats are up this year. His TD's are, but most are at the goal line because they couldn't run the tush push effectively this year. His receptions and yards are down per game compared to other years. I would stay away from him if he cost substantial money.

I think there will be some team out there that overpays and thinks they can utilize him as a top option.

Even if they win the SB, moving on from Patullo this offseason has to be a top priority. The seat is just too big for him.

A booster seat is too big for him at this point.

Dude what the crap. They are idiots. Fire him or stop changing his plays.

It's like the kid in the group project that didn't do anything but got an A because the others did all the work lol

I hated group projects in school.

I was always Vic Fangio.

How i feel with their press conferences every week and what we see when they play against better teams

My guess would be Andre Sam for the game. Patrick Johnson doesn't seem necessary with all the LBs they have that can play. Still seems like a risk for Sam but it worked I suppose

So are we getting Diggs or what?

Wow, not only is Schotty a worthless dunce, he is also a scrooge level scumbag.

That's not going to help with the recruiting.

Just another reason Brian Flores would never be Dallas DC. They are a bunch of stupid and nasty clowns.

Worthless dunce, Scrooge, Scumbag…wow, that’s an opinion. Schotty has actually done a great job on the offensive side of the ball and the players love him. Defensively he had a coach picked for him and he either didn’t want to fix it in season or didn’t have the authority to do so.

Will Flus be sent packing? Hopefully yes. Will Schotty get to pick his own DC? That’s a great question, and I hope the answer is yes.

Diggs has been a problem for the coaches and FO ever since Parsons was traded.

There were three (possibly more) different players this year that were healthy scratches because they did not meet the expected work ethic in meetings and on the practice field, Diggs was one of those guys. Diggs wanted special treatment and Schotty is not that kind of coach, especially to a guy that created locker room issues.

If you call a coach trying to change the culture by holding players accountable a dunce, well he’s a dunce. I’ll take that kind of coach all day long, weed out the guys that do not fit your culture. It’s Schotty’s first and possibly only chance at a HC position, you don’t let dead weight stick around and Diggs is/was nothing but dead weight in DAL.

Diggs has been the worst cb in the NFL this year, if he goes somewhere else and resurrects his career it will be very apparent it wasn’t a Schotty problem but an effort problem by Diggs.

DAL has its problems and they’re well known, but Schotty isn’t one of them. Hopefully he gets a fair chance to do the job he was hired to do, but we all know who runs the **** show in DAL.

Patullo stinks but that seems unlikely to be the big issue as described. The play clock gets low all the time so is Sirriani overriding every play?
