Oh boy, more fun for Jerruh @Joe Ball

since we still can't edit posts with media in them for some reason.

I don’t think it’s his size, although that didn’t help. He just doesn’t have a second gear, but he hits top speed so quickly and he doesn’t have to gear down on cuts.

Kurt Warner did an analysis on Payton about a month ago. Fairly balanced assessment, I think:

@HazletonEagle Oof, Diego Pavia is a Ravens rookie minicamp invite. Didn’t even get a contract offer

But being a giant among midgets, he really rounds his routes. No quickness out of "breaks” (hard to say those are breaks on most of his routes). (Now, he’s 6’4” allegedly and that is not uncommon unfortunately in so many tall WRs.

The narrative about Makai Lemon being "slow" are not true. I think the concerns about his size are fair. And I think it's fair to wonder if he'll ever be a guy who is getting a lot of targets down field vertically, but that's not necessarily because he's slow. I think the size has just as much to with his size as anything, but also that he's so smooth and shifty they'd want to use him in the middle of the field. Use your players to their strengths. But I don't know how you could watch this and say he's slow(starting at 1:35)

There's a difference between being "slow" and not being a burner. He's far from "slow." There have been a ton of "world class speed" WRs that didn't do anything in the NFL while wearing pads.

Makai a true "quicker than fast" and "plays faster with pads" guy.

If we're still looking for kickers, Drew Stevens ( Iowa ), Ethan Sanchez ( Houston ) and Atticus Sappington ( Oregon ) are still listed as UDFAs on the NFL website

Unfortunately Dominick Zvada was signed by the Giants

Maybe paying an agent some money would have been better than getting no money.

He hired an agent I believe. Didn’t in college with the NIL stuff but he did for the nfl.

He’s just garbage

I'll take Tony Frankin and Paul McFadden at this point.

Some of you should be honest with your bias of AJ

I'm able to say he did take plays off and not give his all in some games. Also can say he made a huge impact in our offense

Yes. He made a huge impact to losing games with his empty stats and key drops at bad times. And not stretching out for plays.

He’s also PJ Locke and Malik Hooker’s agent. That dude has a long list of clients. Hard to speculate what will happen there. Unfortunately D-Mo hasn’t been healthy for an entire season to determine accurately what his value truly is, hopefully this year he can stay healthy.

Jerry supposedly extended an olive branch this past week to Mulugheta when they called off negotiations with GP. There is no way I sign D-Mo early, finish your contract then let’s talk, too many injuries, significant injuries.

Cool thing is he is from Arp, TX, (near Tyler)love him as a person and player, he’s just snake bit with the injury bug.

I wish the best for him either with DAL or someone else, as hard as he has worked to get back healthy he deserves a few good years of healthy field action.

Would be cool to see a full season from him this year but I still wouldn’t pay a huge number to keep him long term and I wouldn’t extend him early either.

He set his fate when he trashed the Heisman voters after he lost to Mendoza. He’s a tool, you could see it every time he stepped on the field in the SEC.

There should be some accepting of bias on the other end also. This isn't AJ brown from even 2 years ago. He was getting blanketed by single coverage last year and was rarely getting separation.

Obviously dogging it fairly often just is icing on the cake. Smith is going to have zero issue getting his this year, I predict an easy 1200 yards and double digit TDs

And if Smith doesn't? I assume the blame will just go to the new OC

Mannion’s passing game approach will likely provide a lot of quick reads and play action. That should benefit Hurts with decision making, not having to go deep into progression. I would also expect the ball to get distributed much more evenly amongst the receiving corp. I expect the PHI O to be much much less predictable this coming season.

As mentioned earlier, in 2021 and during times of AJ Brown's absence he has performed very well. Track record states he will put up the numbers no matter who is on the field. The current version of Devanta Smith is better than the current version of AJ Brown, by a significant amount. The supporting cast for Devanta is much better in 2026 than 2021 in his rookie year, where he still put up good numbers with a lackluster group of receivers.

He said in his predraft interviews he wasn’t going to the nfl to be a backup. I get his confidence but I also understand how teams would say "well you’re not starter material so F this entitled ****”

Yep. Remember when that "stud corner" Rock Ya-Sin was blanketing him all game against Detroit this past season? The AJ Glazers are the absolute worst when it comes to facts and common sense.

Don't waste your time. AJ glazers don't deal in facts.
