Oh no! Ex-fringe-NFL player throws Super Bowl winning head coach under the bus ..... I wonder how Greg Ward feels.

It's so dumb anyway. It's ignoring the years they did well and just associating him with the poor performances. And even if we are to accept that then it is a function of a bad OC hire which he definitely should be held accountable for. But all that means is that it comes down to the quality of the OC which we all know already.

How the hell does this happen? In a year we should be looking for some kicker compeition, NO ONE here discovers that David Akers has a son?

AJ Brown is so elite. That's why this offense looked like doo doo last year. Guy can't separate anymore and lacks focus. There's a better chance he turns into late stage Jeffery than prime 2022-2023 AJ going forward.

AJ Brown was far from the issue last year.

Yeah he whined like a baby but Coaching was reason number 1 and inconsistent OLine play was number 2 in my humble, yet worthless opinion.

Brown still has good years ahead of him.

Speaking of AJ to the Pats…

Drake Maye is probably the most overrated player in the NFL right now. The only reason he made the SB was Nix got hurt and didn’t play in the AFC CG. Then he absolutely looked like a deer in headlights before the game even started.

If Hurts played like that in the Super Bowl 75% of the blog would be demanding his immediate release and trying to get him exported to another continent.

I think he's a solid slot receiver going forward. Yes. Years may be pushing it. I don't think the guy will hold up. Best case scenario I see, he gives Pats a nice boost for that 1st year because they are so lacking at the position and then the honeymoon most likely ends.

I was told this in 2019 too. The offense sucked last year. Plenty dangerous is a pretty speculative and optimistic term for a couple rookies, a proven bad wr, and a young coach with no play calling experience as our new offensive transformation.

That's the fun of it all. Don't you get any joy out of the unknown, potential, let's see what happens?

Oline and playcalling were 1a and 1b for me

AJ took off some plays and you guys act like he did it the entire season

I was hard on Zach Ertz during his last Eagles season; I feel like he let his contract situation get in the way of his on-field performance. I have the same thoughts about AJ Brown. I think it's fair to argue whether he was a net-positive or a net-negative for the Eagles last season.

The problem is he picked the worst game of the season to lay an egg against the 49ers. Especially after whining for the ball and then getting it and doing nothing with it. Couldn't beat a bunch of jags and scrubs on that 49ers defense. Started losing games to appease him. Annoying. Looked especially bad vs Chargers and Lions as well. Too many missed drops or catches he should make if he's tracking or stretching out for balls. Also, Eagles sure didn't miss him against the Giants. Lot of signs and red flags here with this guy. Think he is severely overrated at this point and we should dump him off to the Pats like a hot potato before he's worth nada.

You made 1,074 topics in IWTETG but not him??? 🤣

The whole blog sleeping on Akers 2.0

Eagles also bringing in UNC kicker.

I hated how he would drop before contact

Still think he was great and won us games

So you admit he didn't do it all the time and it was sparingly but you're generalizing it

I've heard that they probably will but don't think this guy Drake Silver is credible.

Also we definitely should have known about Akers kid as looks like he played 6 years in college.

I think it's more about Hurts. We know the FO thinks Boston is right because they made Sirianni fire his bff and adopt an entirely new offensive scheme.

Did Jaffer Murphy (I think his name was) ever get drafted or sign as a UDFA? He was the dude kicking 70 yard field goals and running the 4.5 40 yard dash

I thought I saw it all here and then I saw a WR group led by Devonta Smith and also featuring Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, and Hollywood Brown compared to a completely broken down Alshon Jeffrey and JJ Arbusta-Whiteside. This place is always good for laughs.

Anyone buying that Arvell Reese went from a .4 GPA in High School to a 3.7 at Ohio State ?

Besides Lemon who was your favorite draft pick this year and same question for UDFA and why?

I defended JJAW when I thought he was drafted as Alshon’s replacement. Then less than five months later they restructured Alshon’s contract to keep him in 2020. Maybe they saw him in camp and immediately knew he couldn’t play.
