Crazy... horrible OT draft but I guess teams are desperate. He'd be a great fit for us because he needs a redshirt year and Lane would provide that. Some team is going to draft him very high, though, and his lack of anchor right now is going to be a big problem if they just throw him out there. You're right about the OT draft.

Wednesday at 04:28 PM1 day First try at 1st round for all teams. Not overly exciting for everyone in here since I had us trade out of round 1 but will be interesting to see if I got more than one right

Wednesday at 05:20 PM1 day Would love if they were looking to trade up to 23 for Simpson. Feels like trading back is the move this year.

The next 2 who would make me the happiest, would also be major buzzkills because of their age. Those would be Stukes and Bud Carson.Landing one of the top safeties in this draft would be a big win.

I can tell you right now unless there is an OL they love at 23 they aren't going to take one just to take one. Howie made it crystal clear that the days of drafting to fill needs are long gone. Obviously they might still go OL but I'm not sure they do so unless they trade up for someone they really like and I think the odds are far better of them drafting elsewhere.Actions speak louder than words. I appreciate and really like what he had to say with taking BPA basically but he needs to follow through. I'm taking a wait and see approach there.

I'm thinking just the expense report — by itself — justified her being fired. There isn't a company on the planet that wouldn't fire her for this. They reimburse you for legitimate business expenses, not for having a fling with someone. And if she didn't turn in an expense report, it would make her look even more guilty. What is she hiding?Certainly true about fraudulent business expenses. As far as not turning in an expense report for travel and expenses, I was some place 2 weeks on business and it was Monday - Friday so weekend with nothing to do. I airlined out on Friday night to visit relatives, returned Monday morning. Just because I traveled and didn't expense it doesn't necessarily mean I was up to no good. Of course it may.

He’s not ready to play but he could end up being very good.

The cap is so lopsided to an overpaid offense and insanely cheap and young defense that I feel like you almost have to get younger with offensive talent now.

But unfortunately I like a lot of people around here really don't love the likely available OL at 23. WR is also a gamble there depending on how the board falls. And I love Sadiq, but an undersized TE with middling college production in the first round makes me nervous. So if you're sitting at 23 and the options are guys like Iheanachor, Concepcion and Sadiq, I kinda get considering a blue chip DB like McNiel-Warren or an Edge like Faulk instead.

I don't see them taking a safety in the 1st - something they've never done in team history btw - despite how much we'd like it. Drafting on offense makes the most sense. With options at many offensive positions I would think they go offense high. This might be a good draft to trade back, especially if it also gets you any picks next year. However things work out and despite needs, I do like a BPA approach in the 1st, within some reason.

The liability that you’re talking about is essentially zero. It’s about her credibility now damaging their credibility.I have a journalism degree. I worked for newspapers. I ran sports departments. I had to work with HR during hiring and firings (nothing like this to be fair). I promise what she’s been accused of (and likely discovered early in this investigation) is a fireable offense without hesitation. Russini knows that, which is why she resigned on the flimsiest excuse ever. You’re just wrong here.I don’t really have enough dogs in this fight to continue it, but I’m curious how many legal meetings you had to sit in reviewing the exposure of those hirings and firings including the downstream lawsuits. HR is just the messenger.
