I am optimistic about the run game being improved vs. the pass game. Part of that is the hope that Jurgens and Dickerson will be healthier this season. If not, the team has some better depth. The bigger part of it is that the run scheme and pass scheme will mirror each other so that teams will not just know what play is coming. Losing AJ is a blow to the receiving corps. I think adding Lemon is the best move they could have made given the situation. Goedert is a good TE. The biggest question mark is whether Hurts can run the system efficiently and effectively enough to win. This is a talented roster. The defense is better with the addition of Woolen. Greenard solidifies depth at edge. They have good depth at DT with potential for elite play. This is the deepest LB corps the team has had since 1991. The biggest concern is safety although it's not like they have to replace an all-pro player in Blankenship. They have an elite DC. Despite the general questions about the competency of Sirianni he does get the team ready to play and manages the team well. I tend towards optimism at this time of the year especially. Also, congrats on your Negadelphian of the Year Award.

If the Cowboys had our offense, we would be saying "LOL... they hired an OC with no experienced, they got rid of their best WR because he hates their QB and their QB hasn't played top 10 in years! Their OL is old and washed... LOLDALLAS!"

Offensive line is actually healthy so it plays significantly better than 2025 and closer to 2024. That would make the run game significantly better. 2. Hurts can master the offense of a timing offense. Losing Aj hurts talent on the roster. His presence and attention is what gets lost. Like the Smitty TD in GB.I generally think the offense is going to struggle for the first six weeks because it is a new offense. there’s going to be growing pains. Add on mannion is a first time play caller so he has ups and downs. I’m more curious to see what they look like later in the season because mannion should build and get more comfortable and so should the players.

It could very well be as bad or worse. For all we know this offense could look like an offense that is adjusting to a brand new scheme that most of them have never played before and an OC who's never done this before. That isn't exactly some super unlikely outcome.
