I think the consensus answer as to who the greatest QB prospect of all-time was would be Elway. And I would agree with that. He really had everything — big, crazy athleticism, huge arm, Stanford guy, etc. as far as perfect prospects go, he’s the closest to perfect there has ever been which is why there was so much drama around his draft/trade/baseball threats.

Manning didn’t have the athleticism. Luck didn’t have the arm. Vick didn’t have the size or brain. Elway had EVERYTHING.

The Athletic has an article on the best and worst jerseys for each team. The best is their current Kelly green alternate. The worst is the Ukrainian flag throwback colors.

Missed on the right Kelly green but at least got the colors right. I would go with the old school version.

Since he was drafted, statistically he is the 2nd best RB in the NFL behind Henry. Henry has 550 more rushing attempts than Barkley during that time. Henry has 200 fewer pass receptions than Barkley. But sure, he's only had one good season. Troll.

You may not follow the league very closely, but there are MANY giants fans who were not in love with Barkley.

Barkley has had 1 GREAT season. He is supposed to be a great player. There should be more GREAT seasons. Nobody just expected good from Barkley....

No, I literally said it's not criticism, it's hating the man for anything he does even off the field. What's childish is trolling all day for years mocking every single thing he does. There are fans that call him gay, question his manhood for having an all women agent team, mock him for publishing a children's book, find any reason to downplay anything good he does. Weren't you the one who tried to argue Derrick Henry was a receiving threat and was comparable to Barkley when we signed him?

I dont recall that at all. I dont think so. But anything is possible.

I think I made 1 or 2 meh posts about the signing because I know Barkley has been significantly overrated throughout his career. But I mostly was very excited because I knew how good our OL was, and how many big plays he would be able to make here with his speed and the holes theyd open up.

I dont know why I would have been talking about Derrick Henry at all.

I didn't go much further back but I was replying to someone else who was comparing receiving stats over 4 seasons but not taking into account games played. Then you replied.

Based on my closing statement, it looks like the debate was which was a better contract.

By the way, henry had over 1900 yards in Barkleys 2k year, and followed that up with almost 1600 yards in the second year of that contract. Barkley followed it up with a complete stinker.

Henery has been more productive for less money. It looks like Ive been correct.

If you want to make it look like my entire argument was centered on Henry being a bonafide receiving threat then that ones on you.

He still has the better career yards per reception. Isnt that a little eye opening for a guy who is not a receiving RB to have like 2 more yards per reception than a guy who is supposed to be an awesome receiver? Over the course of their entire careers.

Barkley is for sure overrated. Thats not to say Henry is an awesome receiving back. Its just saying that Barkley is not.

We have also experienced some bad drops from Barkley. Even costing us games.

It was about which pricy free agent RB contract was better for the respective teams. I was very correct.

Who cares about Giant fans and their crap team? We all follow the league closely in here. You often claim Hurts success is a product of the great talent around him, not his abilities. But yet, Barkley is number #2 league wide since being drafted and he was surrounded by total shiite every year until he signed with the Eagles. In two years on a talented team he has 3145 rushing yards, 20 TDs. Imagine that, team talent matters? I guess that sucks and since he has talent around him his numbers now don't count because his success has nothing to to with his abilities.

If you're seeing these things on facebook/reddit when asking yourself this question then the reason is because frequent commenters on those platforms are the lowest IQ individuals on earth.
