It wouldn't be surprising if there's some sort of organized flow of women from and back to Asia. I suspect though that is a Chinese/Taiwanese/Korean/Thai enterprise and Kraft is none of those.

May 6May 6 Not sure a recommendation on a Jets scout is good, although he would have been limited by Woody’s kid’s Madden
May 6May 6 It should come as no surprise that with Joe Douglas back, again, this draft class does not blow us away like the last bunch have with Howie undistracted by Joe Douglas' suckiness. Im not calling it a bad class already. BUT, our draft weekend feelings were pretty universally less excited than previous years.
May 6May 6 Joe Douglas drafted well with the Jets and I think you’re making major leaps there on multiple fronts. Not to mention it’s harder to have more exciting drafts when you aren’t picking as high.

But, the initial impression on this years eagles draft class is not as great as others. And coincidence or not, no surprise that happens with Douglas back in the building. At this point, nothing more than an observation. Something to keep an eye on.

The other thing you said does that:Reporters have spent months writing, tweeting, podcasting and talking about it on each other's shows. Most people accepted it would not happen until after June 1st. They'll keep speculating all month about the trade value now that everyone's accepted a trade is happening. We'll find out after June 1st.What would be great if there was a reporter with initmate access to a source that could tell us the terms of the deal.

BUT, our draft weekend feelings were pretty universally less excited than previous years.I don't know that he had much influence in the process in this draft this season. He was brought on as a way to add football credibility to Howie after his return from Elba. He was hired in May of 2016 and left in June of 2019. Howie does not need his credibility at this point. Looking back at the drafts he was involved in, it's not all bad. The worst class was the 2019 class. 3 picks in the top 60. None of them were the best at their position. Only one of them was marginally an above-average player in Sanders for one season. The 2018 draft, however, may be one of the best draft classes of all-time for the Eagles. The 2017 class was also a miss and a bad evaluation of their top pick. The rest of the draft was also meh and Pumphrey was such a waste of a pick. He looked like a middle schooler playing with high school kids.

Jacas is the one guy in the 2nd round maybe but the Eagles traded for Greenard. Last year I advocated for Josh Simmons but I don’t know if that would be considered more exciting or a better draft given he wouldn’t be playing and remains to be seen when he’d take over at RT. I think the 2nd and 3rd rounds last year were a little meh but I think that was more circumstance than anything they tried to move up and no one was willing to move. But I think overall the drafts have been fine, not gonna have legendary drafts every year.
May 6May 6 The Canes winning goal on Wednesday reminded me nothing so much as the Battle of the **** in GoT.
