Try to trade Coots, if you can while his value should be as high as it's been in a few years. Was an albatross and untradable for awhile. May have to retain some money in that deal. Also, ditch Embiid & George. 😉 And that works for me for a successful Philly offseason.TK has a full NMC so unless he wants out he is going nowhere.TOTALLY agree on Risto and York. Risto is a pending UFA in 2027 and will be 32 in October so he doesn't fit the timeline. Trade him now while his value is high coming off of a nice run after the Olympic break and playoffs. York is just the definition of an average player. There are some guys that don't do anything great but are extremely efficient and solid everywhere, and there is York who doesn't do anything great and is average at everything. I would try to package him and a winger for an upgrade at one of those positions.Coots, great playoffs or not has no value at his age, contract, and what type of player he currently is. Not even if they retain a fair amount. With the insane amount of cap space they have they are better off just keeping him in the 4th line role for another year or two and having a great fourth line until a buy out is more realistic. If it means getting back an elite player like McDavid, Matthews, or Brady Tkachuk I would give u Michkov and a lot more in a heartbeat. That being said I'm not actively trying to trade him and there has to be a conversation with him and Tocchet from Briere about what the expectation is. Michkov needs to work his ass off in the off-season and come to camp in the best shape of his life. Tocchet needs to set Michkov up for success and give him the right linemates, role, and ice time to succeed. 10-12 minutes a game on a checking line is just plain stupid and it's no wonder he had a bad playoffs. Tocchet is notorious for not vibing with highly skilled European players and that needs to stop because not ever player has to be a "two-way guy." Briere of all people should be aware of this since he wasn't a two-way guy.
May 10May 10 Gotta love Quentin Grimes. He should get the vet minimum at this point. What a waste of movements?! Gotta fix that bench big time. Shamet is more useful, making pennies.

May 10May 10 Getting blown out and embarrassed at home in elimination game was just what the doctor ordered to get rid of Morey. And probably Nurse too.

A handful of flag football reps are going to make all the difference in the evolving the chemistry of two guys that have been playing together for about 7 years across college and the NFL. Really glad they got those in.It is actually when a new offense is being put into place.

May 10May 10 It doesn’t matter because a lot of Sixers are in denial that Embiid is the biggest problem. You can’t build around him so arguing over GMs or bad signings or trades doesn’t matter. Colangelo’s wife was right years ago about Embiid

Colangelo’s wife was right years ago about EmbiidHe's not the biggest problem, but his health sure is up there. They should have traded him but now it's too late. The biggest problem is the owner. He should have told the NBA to piss off years ago vs letting them place someone in charge of the team who was incompetent. He shouldn't have let the stupid coach draft and then trade away a valuable piece for a project. He shouldn't have picked Brand to be GM and watch him let Butler walk while keeping Harris. He shouldn't have hired DM and he shouldn't have forced him into trading away a young player because he was a cheap you know what.

He's never healthy but there's nothing they can do about it. They can't trade him and they can't make him healthy so what are Sixers fans to do other than to cross their fingers?

And they should have insisted on keeping injury protections in the contract like there used to be.
