I'm confused. I thought everyone wanted less running ("he's a RB playing QB") and more passing, and more under center. So last year they ran more under center and he ran less, he had his most TDs under center by far and a high passer rating.

I guess it depends on who you talk to - there's the hopeful folks who think that best chance for Jalen to have a long career is to throttle back on the running. This involves increasing the effectiveness of the running game schematically, while simultaneously pulling back on his role within it. I think KP tried to do this last year with the under center and pistol, but the OL falling apart made the effort moot. The other side of the coin is the conclusion that Jalen is what he is at this point in his career, and he won't be a good enough passer to offset his diminishing mobility... so use the legs while he has them (if he has them).

Doesn't make any sense to sign him. He only played well during his pro career when he played under Stoutland and we no longer have Stoutland.

My guess is they will see what the o-line looks like health wise and in terms of the rookies and second year players before the consider adding him. It wasn't just Stoutland that made him successful. It was the talent around him as well.

I think you’re exaggerating that to a certain extent. McVay isn’t treating Stafford like he did Goff. Shanahan isn’t telling Purdy who to throw to, but when the play goes in, he might say if we get this look, X should be open.

Stafford has the ability to check out of plays. He's more than earned that. If you watch a 49ers game, you're not seeing audibles at the line. This is true for a lot of the Shanahan calls: they get 2 plays out of the same formation (1 run, 1 pass).

I read that as crochet queen.

No idea how Wemby wasn't suspended or at least fined for that elbow. NBA is a damn joke.

I always think of this whenever the queen comes up.

He's possibly the single best player left in the playoff field. NBA isn't gonna decide a series via a suspension.

I get that, but that was pretty bad. You'd figure they would at least give him a massive fine for it.

Remember a time where Amare stoudamire got suspended for a pivotal game 5 leaving the bench. Meanwhile wemby maliciously elbows a guy in the face and there’s no suspension.

Have a chance at the rare trifecta: sixers ruin Mother’s Day, Phillies ruin 4th of July and eagles ruin thanksgiving. Maybe the Flyers can get a Halloween. new years or Xmas game so we have a chance at 4 different holidays

So it looks like it'll be Eagles Cowboys within 5 or 6 weeks of each other again because they usually try to pack the end of the season with competitive division matchups and I don't think they'll save Dallas for week 18 because it could be meaningless so it'll probably be Eagles Cowboys in Philly week 16ish.

Burn it down... start from scratch. Unfortunately, there's no way to do that... because of Embiid's contract. What can happen with that albatross of a contract around this franchise's neck?

Thursday road game is the biggest scheduling disadvantage you can get in the NFL.

Out routes require anticipation, throwing before the receiver breaks and even throwing that receiver open. Hurts can’t do any of these things so we won’t have to worry about it.
