Yesterday at 03:51 PM1 day Not sure what's worse, the Eagles product on the field or the armchair film dorks the next day pretending they know what they are watching and posting "breakdown" clips as a grift to earn money.
Yesterday at 03:53 PM1 day Thoughts going forward, by position group:QB: Play Tanner next week against the Giants, but after the bye, let's get a look at Milton and/or Payton. This season is a waste, and McKee has no future here. Payton will be here in 2027, and we should learn more about Milton. Personally, I'd turn it over to Milton for a stretch and see how it goes.RB: At some point, it's just a numbers game. I'd love to sit Saquon, but between having no other options and his desire to play, not sure they can do it. Plus, it's not like Elijah Mitchell and Jadon Blue are here for the long term. If Bigsby can come back , then ride him.WR: Yeah - shut Smitty down. Try and trade Hollywood for anything. Wicks/Cooper/Lemon is your WR core, with Moore and Covey as backups. Keep developing Lemon going forward. TE: Trade Goedert if anyone wants him, but doubt they do. But really - play Stowers. He hasn't looked awful, and reps can only help. If you want the feel good story, cut Mundt and put Ertz on the 53 to try and break the franchise receiving record. OL: OK, let's have fun. Try and trade Steen for anything - he's not coming back. And put Morris out there at RG. Dickerson...he's looked better, but maybe let Lampkin play some too. Mailata has no gteed money left and hasn't been himself (mental toll likely weighing on him), but we really don't have anyone to take those snaps. Kendall, Bell and Morris need to get all the reps.DT: Stop playing Carter over 80% of the snaps. He played basically every snap in 2024, and that made sense to win a Super Bowl. Now you're just grinding him down for no reason. Give Ty Robinson those snaps.LB: I know this will create hate, but...play Campbell every single snap. More reps and pray he improves. Rotate in Trotter for Baun maybe.CB: I hope the answer is Coop is playing hurt. Put Mac in the slot and shut Coop down.S: Mukuba and elevate Wisnewski at this point.

They clearly thought enough of him to go and pluck him off Dallas’s practice squad. Probably cause they had a high grade on him when he came out. At this point when we get to that bye week, he’d been here about a month and you get two weeks to prepare for the Steelers. So you can get an evaluation for whatever he is. He probably sucks. And you’re probably not doing anything with him. Imo throwing Payton out there right now is too premature. The offensive line is bad. Saquon can’t make it thru a game right now. Don’t know when smith is returning. I’d rather it be Milton getting destroyed then potentially hurting Payton‘s development and maybe crushing his confidence this early in his career. I think if we get to like week 15 then i thinking about that decision if the offensive line starts playing better, you get some guys back healthier and we know who’s gonna be out there.

AJ has almost no value moving forward and Devonta is extremely valuable. Devonta is also a poor fit for whatever this offense has become. He’s not someone that overpowers DBs for contested catches and he’s not a burner or a yac threat. He is an incredibly precise and elite route runner with outstanding hands. He belongs in an offense with a precise drop back, pocket passer that will utilize the full route tree with him. We’ve seen him in a run heavy offense with a very simple route tree. We’ve seen him in a timing, underneath yac based offense. Hes just not a fit here. Which is a reason I’d listen to compelling trade offers.

But that was never going to happen because eagles waited too long to get it done and Milton Williams was gonna test free agency. get paid more than what they probably could get Jordan Davis on an extension with at that point in time. That said I was kind of opposed everyone about Jordan Davis and him being a key cog. Not that Milton Williams couldn’t be replaceable either. But i was high on the Jordan Davis pick at the time but i really don’t think he was worth the second contract nor as good as people viewed him as. Helped i really loved Milton williams from the time they drafted him more than Davis.
Yesterday at 04:15 PM1 day Lemon and Stowers are really the only two reasons to keep watching this season as far as from a player assessment point. I like what I've seen from Lemon, he's become a reliable target but they still refuse to get him the ball beyond 10 yards. Liked what I saw from Stowers last night in limited reps and think he'll continue to grow. I know everyone was down on that pick because he's missed time, but patience is required for him. I can see him continuing to develop into a nice player.

Its the worst designed blocked offense in the leagueYou can kind of blitz this offense run or pass, either to penetrate the horizontal flow of the outside zone (as we just can't reach block and to get to the edge quickly enough to outrun the pursuit) or to ambush the QB at the top of the drop back. We're probably better off just running duo to left, as most of the overload pressure has been aimed at Bell/Steen.

Any good that comes from Lemon, Stowers and Bell at this point is 75% skill and effort with 25% coaching. But seriously, I can't wait to see new position coaches get to work with these guys.......hope that guys like J Campbell and Makuba can step their game up. We have too many question marks heading into 2027 for these draft picks to not be viable starters.

For a kid that was a full time starter for only 1 year at Miami, at LT, to get forced into action week 4...he hasn't been good, but he hasn't been terrible. Arguably a plus run blocker already. Here's all the guys I want to watch going forward. Offense: Milton (play him after bye), Kendall, Bell, Morris (play him for Steen), Lemon, StowersDefense: Newby (screw it, put him on 53), Campbell, Mukuba, Wisenewski (again, IR someone and get him on 53)

Yesterday at 04:26 PM1 day I agree about not starting Cole. I'd be worried you'd damage his development with how bad the offense is. Talk about throwing the rookie into the fires lol

It will take time to know what he is and it would help if he didn't have a horrible OL coach.

My money is on Kuper that gets fired. And I really wanna be surprised. Maybe Michael Clay gets fired too. special teams cost them a game and has been a disaster for most of the year.

Yesterday at 04:35 PM1 day As for coaching changes post bye, not sure there are great options.HC: Nick needs to go, but I think Hurtt is the only logical option to take over. Vic doesn't want the gig. Unless we want to just make Big Dom the head coach. Or screw it - interim HC Jeff Stoutland (I'm kidding, I think).OC: No reason to pull the plug now, but you have a replacement in Grizzard. Maybe let him call plays.ST: Just fire Clay. I don't care that there is no replacement. Our coverage units are abhorrent.OL: Fire Kuper, bring in TJ. Can't be worse.

Is he just collecting a paycheck?
