There is talent. It is not being coached.

Basically have to have stoutland doing it cause don’t trust Kuper whatsoever to get his head on straight. Maybe mailata can be a mentor for him.If you are right about him coming cheap I wouldn't mind having two projects in Bell and Simmons for Stout or the next OL coach to work with. Either way you are right that Kup can't be the guy.
Yesterday at 06:22 PM1 day One of the most misguided narratives out there is Howie and Lurie only want coaches they can control so they'll always hire puppets. It's just not based in reality or facts.

You pair him with a balanced receiver and that’s as dynamite as it gets.Devonta is Isaac Bruce and Torrey Holt…without Kurt Warner and Martz/Vermeil. Hence the bad fit.Desean could fit with any qb that can throw a rainbow.'You could put Jerry Rice on this team and it wouldn't look any better. There is no good fit to an incompetent scheme.

I’d take a chance though with good OL coach
Yesterday at 06:32 PM1 day You know what I love about the Eagles franchise? (And part of this is by design, part happenstance, maybe part the immense pressure of playing here...so, fans, take credit). This team just doesn't do purgatory. Seasons flirting with .500 are few and far between. They are either way better than that our crashing the F out.

And, to be honest, it's a pretty strong exhibit for the counterpoint to your argument.Having feelings about the best direction to go in as a franchise is not the same as only hiring a coach who will do what you want them to.The dynamic is this: The Eagles will pursue the guys they believe are the best head coaches but they have to be ok with Howie having final say on personnel. Which I wouldn't know why any coach wouldn't be given Howie constructed 3 SB rosters in under 10 years. But some guys want to have final say on personnel or even be above the GM in some instances. That'll never happen here. But they aren't dictating how the coach runs his team on the day to day. There is this idea that Howie and Lurie don't want great coaches because they can't control them and it's laughable.
Yesterday at 06:38 PM1 day The real locker room leader and heart behind the team was always Hurts, and never Siri. One look at Siri's record without Hurts makes it clear. Watching this team without Hurts, you can tell why they were willing to kill him rather than get embarrassed on an international stage.
Yesterday at 06:40 PM1 day People that keep bringing up Stout for 2027What makes you think he'd even want to come back here? He could want more than Oline coach responsibility again and another team may want to give him that

Philly is his home he didn't want to leave so much as Nick made it a toxic environment for him to stay.

It's not dissimilar to Dallas where the inner circle of Jerry Jones is the de facto GM. That means, cold streak in the draft and bad personnel decisions or not, the coach is taking the fall every time. The personnel management infrastructure will never change. That's one level beyond deferring to the GM on final say on personnel.
Yesterday at 06:50 PM1 day I've seen multiple replies about when and if Stoutland comes back in 2027........are we even realistic with that thought? We think that just when Sirianni and company leaves Stoutland will be glad to come back? I don't.

Yesterday at 06:53 PM1 day No interest in Simmons - no use for a guy who clearly doesn't want to play. And I might be the last one, but I don't want to give away an athlete like Campbell for nothing.

He remains under contract, though, and unable to coach elsewhere until next year. According to multiple sources, he is still upset with how he was treated.

And yesterday our first four drives came with awesome field position, and the new KO rule helps teams tremendously especially with FG kickers booting 55 yarders at 80%.......we scored 10 points on a very bad defense while creating a turnover in their territory. There's things Mannion can be doing, we just choose to do the same thing.......but hey lets run this guy in motion and hope it fakes the defense out. I laugh at our motion now, like seriously laugh out loud.
Yesterday at 06:58 PM1 day I'm not really looking to defend Siri at all. I think he should be fired in the offseason. It's my believe that he's a purely ornamental head coach who is only peripherally involved in the nuts and bolts of the offense. Lurie couldn't fire a HC one season after a SB coming off all those consecutive playoff appearances, so they just found a way to turn over control of the offense to someone else. It's Siri's fault for not not being enough of an all-encompassing, respected, intelligent "detailed" HC in the first place that he allowed this to happen. But, regardless, I still believe that it did happen and that he's very small measure to the offense this year, last year, or the year before that.BUT...what happens if Stout doesn't come back to the Eagles next year after Siri is gone? What happens if the offense still stinks? (it will). Siri doesn't win without Hurts. Next year will show Hurts not winning with Sirianni.Does all of this mean Hurts needed Siri to win? Of course not. The team is falling apart. It happens.
