when he says there’s multiple teams that are going to step up and make it very difficult, it feels like teams are willing to overpay for a running back. I would see what exactly I could get for Saquon as you never know what a team is willing to pay and changes your mind. Seen Howie pull off some crazy stuff like a broken down center for a 2nd rounder

Wasn't Grizzard hired as sort of backup if Mannion did great and was hired to be a HC or fired because he sucked?

But it seems like he's not helping the new OC out because the offense sucks. Is he just collecting a paycheck?

He's technically the Pass Game Coordinator, which is Patullo's old job. He sucks too, but has experience calling plays. Firing Mannion is just an attempt to shake things up and let everyone know that no one is safe. Grizzard is the only real option to replace him (Jerrod Johnson I guess as well).

Personally, I'd fire Clay and Kuper at the bye.

what a soundbite

Feels like Barkley is one that Lurie isn't going to allow. Call it sentimentality, but I think he loves Barkley and Hurts.

Is there anyone who is more desperate to be in the Eagles beats friend circle than this guy? Every Fing day this dude is tagging beat reporters trying to get noticed. Dude just offer to give them a blowie already my god.

Kuper...

I don’t disagree. But I wouldn’t be surprised if a team was willing to pay more than we think to get him if they lose out on the Jonathan Taylor sweepstakes. I think it’s not just about football with him. He is a really good leader in that locker room. he has intangibles that you want on your team. So I could see another team wanting not just the running back part of Saquon if he’s healthy, but the intangibles that come with him

He's an easy player to like but honestly it's kind of respectful to let Barkley go to a contender with an Oline

Clay is the low-hanging fruit firing they could do this week, which would be 100% justified. That unit continues to get worse every week and has cost them games this season.

I defer to some of the others who study OL play, but I also wonder how much he is impacted by a design that expected to have Lane out there. Lane could be on an island with no help all the time. He was a unicorn. Can't ask a raw rookie to do the same.

You're right. Also, even vets like Dickerson were letting people through untouched. That's a coaching and scheme issue not a physical one. This many games into the season people still don't know their assignments. Something is seriously wrong.

Oh, there was one play where Bell had TE help and they both let the guy through untouched.

I'm legit terrified every time we kickoff at this point. Though, now that I root for losses, I welcome the long returns.

1st drive - defense gives up only 13 yards, but Washington gets a FG attempt as they started on the 50

WSH FG before half - punt return to the 50, defense only gives up 29 yards

Washington's scoring drives were: 27 yards (FG), 89 yards (TD), 29 yards (FG), 53 yards (FG), 45 yards (FG), 37 yards (TD). You can't keep doing that to your defense and expect them to hold up. One long drive all night (2 if you count the 53 yarder).

Yeah, I thought that was weird on the play that Dickerson let the DT lined up across from him untouched for the sack. Seemed like the protection call was to slide protection to the right as every OL blocked right except for Mailata which left the DT unblocked. Now, either that was designed that way or there was miscommunication. At this point of the season, there is no excuse for either. And, they still cannot pick up a blitz to save their lives.

He's Maryland based. You see sometimes you have these national or local reporters who get jobs but they haven't actually ditched their fandom and it either comes back to the surface in the form of vitriol or propaganda.

Um...I'm thinking La Canfora got hacked.

No, he’s gone after the ravens GM a whole bunch of times before. Like he really doesn’t like that guy.

I think he certainly loves Hurts, probably Barkley too. They're both good representatives of the organization. Based on that pic of Lurie upstream he certainly is NOT happy. I figured Sirianni would get a pass for this season due to all the injuries, now I'm not so sure. What I don't want to lose sight of is that we barely beat WSH the first time and at full strength or nearly so. Last night was scraping the bottom of the barrel in a few positions.

This goes back to that Jaguars game. When they made the decision to allow the Jaguars to return it and not kick it out of the end zone. Works in our favor now that we lost that game. They were fortunate they didn’t give up a touchdown on the first kickoff of the game. Furthermore, they’ve been bad most of the year. It’s why I’m not surprised when the Jaguars returned the Kik the way they did. Because our special teams coverage units either are getting penalized or giving up good returns.

I know he’s from that area. However, I think this goes deeper like maybe he lost access with the ravens or he lost his job because of that general manager. Because I can’t imagine going off the way he has just because he’s from that area.

That said the ravens general manager deserves to get fired. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Lamar Jackson consistently can’t stay healthy over the last like two years. Literally, he came back from an injury, and the first play he came back from he hurt his thumb. Some of it is just bad luck like Embiid. But some of it is his body’s just not holding up.

Answer the question. What does Siri do well! What are his strengths? Not some nonsense about behind closed doors garbage. Answer it.

I saw them let people through unblocked multiple times including the TE and Bell. There is no excuse like you said.
