Like jsn and Chase might be on another planet compared to any other no. 1 WRs. Nacua is probably close to them when he’s healthy. I’d say next tier of no. 1 WRs are St. Brown, Nacua (if he stayed healthy I’d have him with Jsn and Chase), lamb and Jefferson (albeit Murray and his Qb situation is killing him). I’d say the next tier is where Devonta is. With guys like London, Higgins, flowers, Watson (this year— wouldn’t say for his career yet), Garrett Wilson and olave.I’d have had aj brown prior to the past two years in the tier below jsn and chase. It's interesting Jefferson gets a pass for his quarterback situation but Smitty doesn't. It's a miracle he's gone over 1,000 yards in this limp D offense and yet he has done it constantly
Yesterday at 07:04 PM1 day Say we had the #1 pickWould you be mad/upset if we drafted Jeremiah Smith with all of our other needs? He's getting comp'd to a lot of greats

It's not so valuable for an off ball LB in the absence of being able to make a correct, quick, and decisive step towards the play. He just floats around taking bad angles and a couple times per year can use his athleticism in pursuit.Despite that athleticism...and they have tried blitzing him off the edge...he's consistently looked bad at it. So I'm not sure what else there is to do except wait 2 more years to see if he can develop into a serviceable off ball LB when a light goes on...all for the cost of a 1st round pick. If they can get something now, it's not so bad.

But, beyond positional need, this team has no franchise quality players. THAT'S a need. And that's a box Smith checks. But, they can probably do a full season tank in 2027 and will suck...so they can draft their QB in 2028.

Herbert may be massively overrated, but he's also vastly superior to the QB situation that the teams in the race to the top of the draft have.

23 hours ago23 hr I was watching a mock draft on YouTube this morning and right now we have the number 5 pick. What we should do is try and trade with the Jets for at least two of their first round picks. this team is nowhere near being competitive with just one or two players

Most in this blog believed he was a stat padder and overrated. Add in Justin Jefferson went 1500+ yards in 3 of his first 6 seasons. And 4 of his first 6 had 1400 or more. Jefferson also was 1x all pro twice and offensive player of the year. Jefferson:Smith:

I just hope to see continued progress. If by the end of the year, we have 3 potential starters for the 2027 offense in Lemon, Stowers and Bell, that's a massive win.The best thing going for Bell is playing time, it benefits PHI in the long run, win or lose, he needs real reps, it would be different if PHI were fighting for the #1 seed in the NFC or a playoff spot where his OTJ training might prevent the team from succeeding. It takes OT two to three years to develop into a good OT, I think he'll be fine in the long run, and possibly better for having gone through some difficult times, that goes for every player on the team that wasn't a part of the SB a couple of years ago...they are gonna stay hungry and work their buttts off.

I am encouraged by what we've seen from Bell, especially since he was thrown to the wolves well before anyone expected.

We think that just when Sirianni and company leaves Stoutland will be glad to come back? I don't.Nope. Everyone has revisionist history with what actually went down. Stoutland was mad that changes were made to the run game without consulting him to an appropriate degree. He is the one that gave up run game coordinator title because of that and his relationship with the organization soured. So much so that he was offered to come back as O-line coach and he said no. Stoutlands agent came out and said he was frustrated his voice wasn’t being heard "within the organization” and wanted to leave. It goes beyond just Sirianni. He had an issue with the entire organization.

We're probably better off just running duo to left, as most of the overload pressure has been aimed at Bell/Steen.Yup commanders attacked that side with bell and steen over and over and they got worked.Commanders D identified the weakness of the eagles O line and exploited it.

But that was never going to happen because eagles waited too long to get it done and Milton Williams was gonna test free agency. get paid more than what they probably could get Jordan Davis on an extension with at that point in time. That said I was kind of opposed everyone about Jordan Davis and him being a key cog. Not that Milton Williams couldn’t be replaceable either. But i was high on the Jordan Davis pick at the time but i really don’t think he was worth the second contract nor as good as people viewed him as. Helped i really loved Milton williams from the time they drafted him more than Davis.Yes but Howie being as poor a drafter as he is, predictably holds onto his high picks like a white knuckled drunk to his bottle. By paying him top dollar he creates the impression that his pick is a really good player and worth the money. It's Dilbert ass covering at the highest level.
