EMB Blog: 2026 Regular Season (Part 1)

Shawn Syed was on the Philly Special and he said while the OL definitely played a huge part in the running game struggling he said he was pretty unimpressed from a creativity standpoint compared to other teams like the Bears, Niners, Packers, etc that do creative things to confuse defenses, open up running lanes, and the Eagles were pretty predictable and vanilla there.

We'll see if that changes as the season progresses.

I like Jordan Davis. He seems to be a great person and a solid DT. But Ojomo is the better player and they will lose him next year and there is nobody even remotely close to replace him. Vic seems to give more snaps to Moro than Davis so that should tell you something.

It looks like they will also lose Steen. He isn't as good as Moro but is a solid guard not withstanding some people on this list not liking him. Next year they could be without Dickerson, Johnson, Steen and we'll see how Jurgens holds up. They better win this year.

If I could have just one wish for pro NFL analysis, it would be stopping this mass delusion that the Packers are some amazing offense. If Mannion is successful, it certainly won’t be from copy-pasting that offense

I mean they've been good. Have they been generational? No. But I think most x's and o's people feel that LaFleur is a bright offensive mind that does a lot of creative things. I think his biggest flaw has been coaching tight/scared in big playoff games at the end and he gets conservative, but from a purely offensive mind perspective he's good. Team is good at creating matchups, a good running team, and always schemes guys open.

A touchback would come out to the 35. Most kickers try to land the ball short of the goal line to force a return.

Yeah I thought it came out to the 25. I can’t keep up with the rules

If Syed were to completely change his voice to sound absolutely nothing like himself then he might be a good listen.

Howie is a wizard.

Ojomo will be an Eagle.

I believe.

Add in Riq Woolen, and you could make a top 15-20 defense out of the guys we’ve lost/are likely to lose in 3 offseasons.

A broken clock is right twice a day.

Makes sense, he seemed to have tweaked something early in the game

When keeping it real goes wrong

Sounds crazy to keep and pay 3 CBs. But Dejean can be looked at as a safety as well. Woolen plays all the snaps and would be worth it. Hunt will probably play about 65% of snaps if Greenard is healthy. Woolen is tall and can play guys like Pickens. It's early, but I'm doing my best to keep him. I dont mind waiting it out on Hunt and Smith if it comes down to it and getting the one who costs less after next season. Still have Greenard.

Landon not the only player shadow benched for their poor play.

Sends weird to me for Howie to not fill the 53rd spot.

NO! It's because he sucked!

Okay, so this year we are not forcing our players to play when they are disabled. Nice!!

It's better than Ben Solak's voice. Baby steps. Solak sounds like Howie Roseman on estrogen.

Just waiting to see which practice squad guy to promote that they think they'll need this week?

I remember him taking the brunt of a friendly fire hit near the goal line. Not sure who blasted him though or if that was the play that caused the "ding"

He has a sleeve on his leg, not sure if that's normal. If not could be hammy/calf strain. If so, be cautious.

Looks like a sports hernia injury for Cooper that he will try to play through
