That dude looks like someone’s 40 year old CPA, or agent.

He looks like he's still trying to figure out if the rubber ball goes in the square, round or triangle hole.

I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Can Elliott not kick it to the endzone? The skins started around the 35 each time. It was like a gimme

If he kicks it into the endzone it automatically goes to the 35. It's not distance on the kick, it's mediocre kick coverage

Exactly

Listening to Brett Whitefield on XM. He liked what he saw from Wicks. Says Lemon looks like a stiff rookie still but isn't worried. The most concerning think though was apparently they primarily used Smith as the X, and points out that Smith's efficiency drops of significantly in that role. Adds a big caveat that the bad OL play limited what they wanted to do. But that info about Smitty as the X worries me a bit. Seems like a bad fit.

Good to see Nakobe off to a strong start in Vegas

I thought it was the 25? I cannot keep up with the new rules

Pretty sure it’s the 35. The league’s whole point with the rule changes was to create more returns and fewer touchbacks

Things like this are why Howie can find ways to make it work financially. He's always working his magic.

Yeah I know it was the 20 forever but then I thought they switched it to the 25. I can’t keep up

Quinyon or Coop new contract incoming?

Or to put the cat amongst the pigeons, are they are trading for an OL and need the cap room?

I would imagine he's looking at any and all options to upgrade the roster. OL, Edge, TE, whatever becomes an option he can pursue.

Howie said he's not doing extensions in season. It could be he is proactively creating space without a player in mind. I am not sure that they need to add Ertz at this point. He doesn't add much as a blocker and I am not sure he would get many targets. They could consider adding Becton. I also wonder if they would consider adding Reddick if they were not happy with their depth at the edge position.

Thanks. Howie is a master.

Well apparently I have been pronouncing Ojomo incorrectly and in his native Nigerian tongue, it’s uh-JUH- muh and his full first name is Morotoluwa.

He's only in his second year in the League but he's already a Vice President at Bank of America.

Guessing Ertz, but hopefully a trade

Maybe. But he's also done this in the past as a (paraphrasing) cap flexibility move with no major signings\trades following.

Titans 24 - Eagles 20

Got them

Does it make Nolan easier to trade?

Neither can be signed until the end of the season.

And Howie doesn’t usually do extensions during the season

It’s not really a move cap wise that suggests anything is around the corner. It’s only slightly less than $1M of cap space they opened up for this year. The move suggests more about next year. They already have most of Browns dead money hitting next year, this could be to accommodate additional dead money they didn’t anticipate like Johnson or Dickerson.

It also suggests Howie doesn’t plan on extending Nolan Smith
