Did see that. But he's on practice squad and not as good as Tonges.

Just to repeat, there are 2 potential downfalls on this team that Howie, if he's smart, finds some depth. That is TE and Safety/CB. Both positions have a chance to cost us games with injury. Just sayin...

Jury is out on Elliott. Will take that one week to week.

Hope so but don't think so. Once these guys hit FA anything can happen. The Eagles made a really good offer to Phillips but the Panthers significantly upped the ante. Losing Dean still bothers me. Guy was the ultimate leader and really good. Campbell better turn out to be a real player, not just solid.

Why? Neither was added to LSU’s roster, they simply enrolled in school while waiting for LSU to decide. This seems like punishment by the NFL for attempting to return to playing college football. I can see why the NFL wants to discourage players from being able to do that, but this decision seems punitive. Hate what they did but don’t like this punishment.

Re: promoting a PS player: Not sure I see the benefit if they are going to be a gameday inactive, plus if its a non-vested veteran, you'd be exposed to waiver risk with them.

Re: signing from the outside: Gives you an extra practice body but again if they are not going to be active, maybe the coaches don't want to spend time with someone new getting up to speed

Feel like the first 2 games being against lightweights like the Redskins and Titans probably has shaped how they are playing things. Think they want to ease into things, rather than rush into things. Such as rushing Greenard back. But really need to be ready for Week 3 and after, for the gauntlet. So gotta tweak this thing right really soon. I think that's when more of the truth comes out here....about a lot of things. Still warming up here and working out the kinks, while they are afforded that chance.

I'm watching the Philly Special 30 for 30, and this came on... I sense that somewhere, Carson Wentz is breaking out in a cold sweat.
