Fran on the post game talking about how it's the same story every week and the passing game is still as vanilla as it gets with no man beaters and the final drive was basically just a bunch of deep curls running right into man coverage.

Doesn't matter who the OC is, this is clearly all they're going to run most of the time as long as Sirianni and Hurts are here and all a new OC is going to change is a new wrinkle once or twice a game.

On the final drive they obviously are trying to run the stuff Hurts is the most comfortable with so he can play fast and make quick decisions without really thinking. Its not a Siri and Hurts thing. Its simply a Hurts thing.

Analytics doesn’t care about your feelings. The Eagles getting 3 points wouldn’t have been some massive wind in their sails. It would have led to a one point loss. Whoopty doo. One play to win the game. You have to take the at chance.

With the conditions and rams struggling i dont agree

Would have kept a fg to win on the board

Now do win percentage, playoff record, SB record...you know the stuff that actually gets you into the HOF instead of stat compiling on garbage teams

Will Dak be a HOFer??

Jim McMahon has a better win percentage.

And how did that work out? It was their ugliest drive of the game. The stuff we speculate Jalen Hurts likes doesn't work. It didn't work last year either. Both Sirianni and Hurts have been a problem it's not an either or.

There any decent RBs on the street?

And both can go. Since we have so much money tied into two fatass DTs, we could use a QB on a rookie contract

I am optimistic that this is the week they pull Jurgens. Should be a nice wake up call for everyone. Jobs have to be earned. Nothing handed. I always hated that Jurgens extension and timing of it.

Last year was also just a Hurts issue. Siri is not included in that issue. Poor Siri was stick with this guy as his QB through his entire coaching career so far. He deserves a chance at picking his QB before he is fired here. Siri winning a super bowl with one of the league's worst starting QBs is nothing short of amazing. And his win% with this guy at QB is also miraculous.

BS. They didn’t lose because of some fictional momentum shift. Total nonsense.

They literally drove 98 yards after the Eagles failed. Most saw it coming when they stalled on the two.

You need to design your offense around your teams/quarterbacks strengths.

What are Hurts strengths? Mobility? Not so much anymore. Fast reads and getting the ball out? No Throwing into tight windows or throwing receivers open? No. Somebody help me here.

I think he does a lot of things poorly, but yes, I'm curious what it would look like with a QB that isn't so limited

Ben Johnson last week made Keenum look like Joe Montana. Good coaches and schemes can make their QBs look better than they are. They give no scheme advantage to anyone. Who on this roster on offense is playing up to expectation? Kendall and Wicks? That's about it. This coaching staff doesn't elevate anyone. We see around the NFL every week good coaches elevate and get the most out of their players. This staff does not.

10 point lead with 8 minutes left. Facts say otherwise.

Context matters. Context matters a lot.

Eagles had to defend 56 offensive plays by the Rams in the second half. Eagles ran just 25 offensive plays... because the offense was inept... again in the second half. Completely inept. Not good enough. Inept. Hurts was 3 for 10 for 18 yards in the second half. 11 rushes for 18 yards as well in the second half.

Second half:
3rd quarter
3 plays, 5 yards - Punt.
3 plays, 5 yards - Punt.
4 plays, 9 yards - Turnover on Downs

Rams held the ball for 10+ minutes, Eagles just 4 minutes, because they couldn't get even 1 first down. And that's death for a defense. And that's why they wore down in the 4th quarter. Complementary football is important. In the first half, the offense at least took advantage of the opportunities they were given, but they were recipients of golden opportunities. The Eagles scored TDs on 'drives' of 17 yards and 10 yards (25 yards came on the DPI call). Eagles were completely shut out in the 2nd half. They went into halftime with 20 points. They ended the game with 20 points. That's not good enough.

Benching Jurgens won't solve all their problems but it'd be a damn good first step. He cost them 7 points on the goal line and killed at least a few other drives. It can probably be argued he costed them at least 10 points.

Bell looked fine today and Lemon was constantly open. Kendall is a legit center.

On defense Carter was fine at safety and no way they can take Trott off the field next week. They will probably bench him for pride and let him go this offseason, though. Riq is also someone they are going to regret losing.

Trouble is Hurts wouldn't have gotten us there even for the field goal.

I don’t disagree with you. Especially if he’s not gonna be mobile anymore. It takes a whole element out of his game that he needs. It’s kind of the Russell Wilson thing, where Wilson stopped running as much (he also just got older and wasn’t as dynamic )and eventually it caught up to him. I would also say this, I don’t think sirianni is a Ben Johnson, mcvey, Kyle Shanahan or Coen type of coach. And that’s really what the Eagles want.

So if I had to guess, hurts is likely back here in 2027 because that contract pretty much makes him back here. But I kind of think they’re gonna try to go out and look for that head coach this off-season and then try to maneuver themselves into a position where they can potentially get the quarterback they want. Now they have two first round picks in 2028, which helps. But I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a couple other guys that we thought we’re gonna be extended get traded so that they can stock pile picks in order to position themselves to get a quarterback. Especially if the rest of the season looks like this on offense.

I think the defense would have had to defend differently, but then again they couldn't even get a first, so you may be right. It's beyond comprehension just how bad that offense looked the second half. Tank did have them moving and then he got hurt. Just a bad look all around.

There's something nostalgic about frothy eagles fans and their reflexive need to call for the backup QB to fix everything that ails the offense. It's literally never been proven right, unless you want to consider the current guy they want to run out of town coming in for Wentz and making a SB run two years later.

Sirianni needs to go

Couldn’t agree more. We have more talent than every team we’ve played so far. Okay maybe not the Rams but I’d argue on both sides of the ball overall we do. Let’s not forget they were without Garrett and Donald today. And yet those teams are matching us because of coaching and scheme.

Sirianni isn’t a difference maker. When things are going well sure he looks like a good HC. But he can’t fix things and he’s not been able to at all. He’s fully reliant on his coordinators and the time has come for him to go. He doesn’t make positive changes in games. He preaches being detailed and playing tough but this team is neither of those games. The only thing that is tough about this team is watching them.

I would take losing every game the rest of the way if it meant Siri and hurts were gone after this season.

The think I never was able to help you understand last year, and probably cant again this year is that we arent seeing good schemes BECAUSE OF HURTS.

In fact, they just said on the post-game show- this is not the offense we saw in camp.

Mannion very early in camp talked about changing his offense to try to incorporate things Hurts is comfortable with (when Hurts was struggling in camp). I mentioned it and everyone called me a troll again. It was a serious red flag. Now, we can see I was right about that again.

The OCs keep having to throw out all of their good stuff because of Hurts.

Siri isnt factoring in to this issue. Its the friggin QB. Over and over again.
