Benching Jurgens won’t do ish.

This OL has been completely neglected for years so we could make genius draft picks like Jihaad fing Campnell.

Grateful for Howie overall, but he has been completely stupid the last 2 years, and Sirriani is a friggin buffoon.

Im sick about the state of this organization.

There's something nostalgic about frothy eagles fans and their reflexive need to call for the backup QB to fix everything that ails the offense. It's literally never been proven right, unless you want to consider the current guy they want to run out of town coming in for Wentz and making a SB run two years later.

I don't think anyone wants the trash we have at backups either. At this point Hurts and Siri have time to redeem themselves. I would love for that to happen and it still might. But they've got to figure it out.

No ones calling for the backup. We're imagining blowing it up

You know who has been back with Howie both of those years? Joe Douglas. Get him out of here.

Its a take from Mailata

Who is calling for the backup QB? There's a lot of bemoaning the starting QB... the ineptitude of the offense.... the moronic HC that has no 'system' of his own, so the OC position has become a revolving door. But, no one I've seen has called for Dalton or even McKee. Maybe I've missed it.

So far all of the Eagles preseason known weak links have burned them.

Jurgens/Dickerson are washed

Not enough at safety

Not enough at TE

No good backup CBs

Dalton is washed

Campbell may not be ready (Got benched last year for Dean)

Besides all of that, a lot of players are underachieving or haven't taken that projected next step.

In spite of all of that, should be 3-1. Season not over.... if they get healthy and make proper roster and coaching adjustments. Hard to see that happening right now...but it is possible. There's no one running away with anything. Rams certainly don't impress me.

This team has been built for decades in the trenches. And I get you have to draft at other positions too but they’ve completely neglected the OL and to be honest haven’t done a good enough job building the DL.

They literally drove 98 yards after the Eagles failed. Most saw it coming when they stalled on the two.

Lol. That was because of the momentum? The Eagles defense slumped their shoulders and the Rams offense started peacocking because of it?

No.

It’s gonna be a long 9-8 season

Ben Johnson last week made Keenum look like Joe Montana. Good coaches and schemes can make their QBs look better than they are. They give no scheme advantage to anyone. Who on this roster on offense is playing up to expectation? Kendall and Wicks? That's about it. This coaching staff doesn't elevate anyone. We see around the NFL every week good coaches elevate and get the most out of their players. This staff does not.

Yep. Two weeks in a row good coaches made the difference while Nick....was Nick. He's fine if you tie him up and keep him out of things and he's an anchor when he gets involved in things. What should that tell you?

Sirianni needs to go

Couldn’t agree more. We have more talent than every team we’ve played so far. Okay maybe not the Rams but I’d argue on both sides of the ball overall we do. Let’s not forget they were without Garrett and Donald today. And yet those teams are matching us because of coaching and scheme.

Sirianni isn’t a difference maker. When things are going well sure he looks like a good HC. But he can’t fix things and he’s not been able to at all. He’s fully reliant on his coordinators and the time has come for him to go. He doesn’t make positive changes in games. He preaches being detailed and playing tough but this team is neither of those games. The only thing that is tough about this team is watching them.

Some coaches maximize the talent they have around them. Others require maximum talent to make them look competent. Sirianni is the latter. Ben Johnson sure seems to be the former.

I actually think it happened because they lost their best corner, they lost their best pass rusher in Greenard and dejean was dealing with something. Which makes even more sense to me why they tried to go up 17. when you start losing multiple guys on defense and you’re already on the field way more than you should be, it makes sense to try to go up by 3 scores with eight minutes left.

Yep! He’s a fraud and the sooner he’s gone the better. This is not a fun team to watch or support right now.

This is true as well. The offensive and defensive line is absolutely key if you want to win.

You won’t get any argument from me. This roster is a shell of itself from just 2 years ago.

So that's what a successful screen looks like.

Alright I'm gonna try and forget about football for a while.

Nah. Let's not take the blame away from Siri and qb1

In one play (on the goal line), Jurgens cost them the game and maybe the season. They score there, it's game over. Yes. I'm being harsh, but that's one of many bad plays made by him. That's a Kerkering right there sabatoging everything. Took the steam right out of them.

This organization has a TON of issues but there isn't a single question in my mind that THE biggest problem (and it's not even close) is Sirianni. He does NOTHING well. He is an offensive coach who sucks at calling plays and only gets in the way of the offense and makes it worse. The last two weeks there has been less motion, more shotgun, and basically no play action. We are talking the most basic offense with zero creativity. Based on what I saw the first two weeks versus the last two and the report that came out about why Mannion is in the booth I have no doubt whatsoever that Sirianni yet again has turned this back into his offense. It doesn't take a smart football person to see that and I really thought this time it would be different and the new OC would be able to run their own offense. It's no wonder proven names like Daboll and McDaniel had ZERO interest in the OC job here.

We obviously have way more problems than just Sirianni and even people I have not been overly critical of in the past (Howie and Hurts) are guys that aren't doing their jobs good enough. Until that stupid FN moron Sirianni is gone nothing will ever change though. We can all thank Stoutland and Vic for the SB because this team won it in spite of Sirianni.

Someone mentioned McKee earlier today. And at least twice last week against the Bears too. And then another post just a page or two ago said something to the effect of "wanting to see what this offense looks like with another QB", which I assumed meant a backup given that this offense won't necessarily remain intact after this season.
