We are watching scream 6 now. 6ers tomorrow. I saw enough football for the day.

Don't waste your time on Sundays. Start watching Saturdays. Need us a new QB

A positive going into the 2027 offseason is that they should be able to truly go BPA in the draft because there will be so many holes and no depth. That includes QB. Any position besides DT is on the table.

Anyone else notice a step back from undercenter plays this game from the previous 3?

Seamed like they were in shotgun all game

See my post above. Over the last two games you can see the offense morphing back to Sirianni's offense right before our eyes and while the offense wasn't great the first two weeks it has gotten dramatically worse since. Whenever the team starts line up in shotgun all of the time, not using motion or fakes, and either running up the middle or sending most of the receivers on vertical routes it's obvious to anyone who knows ball what's going on.

The flip side to that is they may not be quite bad enough to have a top 10 pick…

I think our wr room is the best I've seen as a fan. Wicks has been a pleasant surprise. I still believe Lemon is going to be good. He consistently gets open but the scum we have at qb doesn't see him. Cooper is an awesome 4th

Obviously the Hurts offense.

Why is DT not on the table

The think I never was able to help you understand last year, and probably cant again this year is that we arent seeing good schemes BECAUSE OF HURTS.

In fact, they just said on the post-game show- this is not the offense we saw in camp.

Mannion very early in camp talked about changing his offense to try to incorporate things Hurts is comfortable with (when Hurts was struggling in camp). I mentioned it and everyone called me a troll again. It was a serious red flag. Now, we can see I was right about that again.

The OCs keep having to throw out all of their good stuff because of Hurts.

Siri isnt factoring in to this issue. Its the friggin QB. Over and over again.

Your agenda against Hurts is blinding you. Why would they run a different offense during the season than in camp. For one, that is one person(EJ Smith) opinion. But even if it were true, that's on the coaching to run something totally different during the season than in camp. How do you prepare your players that way? It's ridiculous. Either way it's on the coaches.

Bell looked pretty solid

yep. this WR room feels very disrespected this year. They cant prove themselves because of the guy leading the offense.

Imagine if we had a real qb

In one play (on the goal line), Jurgens cost them the game and maybe the season. They score there, it's game over. Yes. I'm being harsh, but that's one of many bad plays made by him. That's a Kerkering right there sabatoging everything. Took the steam right out of them.

I don't disagree and this is in no way me defending Jurgens. However, the fact that he is still playing at this point is absurd. He gets abused on every other play and has been since the first game. It's over and the coaches need to have some balls and do the right thing for the team and send his ass to the bench.

There is a reason the coaches keep throwing out everything good. Its the QB.

This organization has a TON of issues but there isn't a single question in my mind that THE biggest problem (and it's not even close) is Sirianni. He does NOTHING well. He is an offensive coach who sucks at calling plays and only gets in the way of the offense and makes it worse. The last two weeks there has been less motion, more shotgun, and basically no play action. We are talking the most basic offense with zero creativity. Based on what I saw the first two weeks versus the last two and the report that came out about why Mannion is in the booth I have no doubt whatsoever that Sirianni yet again has turned this back into his offense. It doesn't take a smart football person to see that and I really thought this time it would be different and the new OC would be able to run their own offense. It's no wonder proven names like Daboll and McDaniel had ZERO interest in the OC job here.

We obviously have way more problems than just Sirianni and even people I have not been overly critical of in the past (Howie and Hurts) are guys that aren't doing their jobs good enough. Until that stupid FN moron Sirianni is gone nothing will ever change though. We can all thank Stoutland and Vic for the SB because this team won it in spite of Sirianni.

The O is at the behest of the QB. And while the O is clearly struggling, it looks nothing like the Patullo/Siri mess from last year. Dislike of Sirianni is absolutely ok, but the FO snipped his balls off this offseason in terms of scheme. If Hurts can't take many snaps under Center, not sure Bill Walsh or Mike Holmgren can fix this O. Not the HCs fault

I do all the time. We would have more super bowls already. Even with Siri as the coach.

It’s doubtful that they will go that route but if a WR is the best player on your board, go for it.

Yup

Yep. Two weeks in a row good coaches made the difference while Nick....was Nick. He's fine if you tie him up and keep him out of things and he's an anchor when he gets involved in things. What should that tell you?

When your head coach does nothing to add value to the team and can only screw things up by getting too involved (and has multiple times over the years) that's a problem.

With all the questions, I'll pass on that. Give me a QB, G, DE

Someone mentioned McKee earlier today. And at least twice last week against the Bears too. And then another post just a page or two ago said something to the effect of "wanting to see what this offense looks like with another QB", which I assumed meant a backup given that this offense won't necessarily remain intact after this season.

Sorry. I must've missed it. Hardly a ground swell though.

Btw, f Stowers. Is dude that dumb he can't pickup the offense? He was a reach to begin with. Vandy produces sheet

It’s gonna be a long 9-8 season

I think 9 wins at this point might be generous. This offense is not just bad, they are one of the worst offenses in the league. Heck they might be the worst offense in the league. It’s up there with the Titans. The defense for how it looked for most of the day down a bunch of guys also has injuries piling up. This team in general has injuries piling up. This kind of just feels like 2020 where everything’s gonna go awry and the injuries are gonna pile up.

Howie needs to take some real flack for the job he’s done reconstructing this offense the last couple of years.
