I think there's a 0% chance Campbell gets fired. It's easy to forget where/who they were before he got there.

How long of a leash do you think Dan Campbell has? I actually think if they don’t make the playoffs he’s gonna get fired. It’s not only that they’re not as good and miss playoffs consecutive years but watching Ben Johnson consistently win inside of the division has to also irk the lions

Campbell is the JV Sirianni. He’s goofy, overly emotional, and the CEO variant. He just hasn’t had the same playoff success (and has had talented but inferior rosters).

He can be that CEO coach if you give him a roster with big talent and a top OC.

That’s how I view him. But I also think if he misses the playoffs in consecutive years, there’s a chance he’s gone. Do I think it’s 100%? No. But I think it’s at least 50-50 especially if they wind up faltering and going like 8-9 The bears taking their OC and winning doesn’t help the overall view from the fan base

Maybe they should check the offensive staff room at the Novacare

I think they love him there.

9-8 type season I think he is back. 5-12 would be more of a conversation

The lions and panthers are look like they are playing a completely different game offensively

Do you think there’s any scenario where Sirianni would get fired during the season? If the Eagles drop their next 4, which I think is unlikely but not entirely out of the question… do you think his job would still be safe?

Or at that point would Howie whisper in Lurie’s ear "Jeff… ride this all the way to a nice juicy top 10 pick”

I think the conversation starts becoming very loud at like 7-8 win season. If they go 10-7 miss the playoffs i think he’s more likely back. If they go 9-8 he’s either back and on the hot seat or gone.

Depends on how disrespectful Lurie feels like being. After not canning Doug during the 2020 season following a worse worse stretch, a mid-season can would be the ultimate disrespect. Lol. But it's his team, so things like that don't apply to him the same way they do to us.

That's what you would want from a teammate.

Glad to hear BG airing stuff he shouldn't be was totally made up

Don’t see him firing lurie midseason. Only reason chip did was off the field stuff and lurie was over it. I thought the closest Lurie probably would have done it was 2024 if they were just bad to start the year after how they collapsed down the stretch to try and save the season with Moore

Its becoming the book on Hurts, and was clearly the way to go without any of our top playmakers on the field

Fun stat over the last 10 years:

2 coaches have been fired after going to the playoffs and being eliminated (1.5%).

21.5% of NFL head coaches who miss the playoffs get fired.

38% of NFL head coaches who miss the playoffs 2 consecutive years get fired.

70% of NFL head coaches who miss the playoffs 3 consecutive years get fired.

100% fired after 5.

Yeah, it was the same problem. We had back in 2023. We teams just blitz the hell out of us cause we didn’t have any answers for it.

I mean he was right here. Community notes said BG didn’t say it

I meant Jason Rivera, whoever the hell that is

The Eagles sit at 2-2. After they are predicted to drop one next week, they have a cakewalk schedule for a while. They are still the smart money to win the division. Do I think they are flawed and not going anywhere after that? Yep.

But just because they are playing bad football right now doesn’t make them a bad team.

I don’t know if I’ve seen anything from this team so far that would allow me to think any team they play would be a cakewalk. This is the same team that took Tennessee down to the final play.

Counterpoint?

The most important battle of an early player's career for sustained success is getting on film. There's a battle that occurs after what you can actually do is established on film, and then people have something to counter you with. This usually comes after the year, and going onto the next. You could make the argument that's also what happened?

I think there is a second point to this situation.

The stricter enforcement of RPO illegal man downfield and Hurts becoming slightly more limited athletically took away some of the things that put the greatest stress on defences in those Steichen offences (Hurts 2021 / 2022 was certainly faster / more explosive when he took off).

I think other teams are looking at the Eagles and thinking they are fortunate to play this overrated team that can't move the ball to save their lives and have a head coach who doesn't have a clue. So it goes both ways.

Imagine the tone of this board tonight if Jonathan Jones learned how to catch a football or Cam Jurgens wasn't a clutz. This team has alot of issues right now. Yet they could have and should have won this game against a supposed top NFC opponent. It is still really hard to gauge what we fully have here. Like to see see the offense with a healthy Goedert, Devanta and a brand new left guard. A traffic cone. Anyone with a pulse.

Things are discombobulated and in disarray with all the injuries and sudden changes. Bell had 0 reps in practice. This team is shooting itself in the foot way too much. Will that last all year? We will see. The way they lost and who they lost to, makes this sting and compounds the loss. Yet, and still it's one loss only. New game next week. They are still 2-2 and in the hunt. If they are 2-4 in a couple weeks, then we can start panicking. Little early still. Gotta survive this first half of the season with all the injuries and change. Need to get reinforcements and make some adjustments. Just need a win. Doesn't have to be pretty. I don't think the Rams care that they just won an ugly football game. They survived from being 1-3 and have a new found hope going forward. Just takes a win and the perspective changes.

Can this O move the ball against even the Cowboys D?
