Yeah they had talent but name me a top 10 offense ever that didnt have talent.Meanwhile the defense was ranked 30th out of 32, they were a joke. Was BJ the best OC ever? No, and he wasn't the worst ever either

Moore brought more motion and checks at the LOS that Johnson's offense lacked. That Saquon Barkley guy coming here was pretty good too.I agree AJ made a huge difference in 22, but I'm talking about strictly 21. Both the 21 and 24 offenses struggled until they made adjustments and leaned heavily on the running game. Without a successful running game to lean on, Hurts is abysmal. The only outlier was 22, but like I said, he has regressed every year since then.

October 5Oct 5 Re: 4th down calls. I think one of the issues with Siri is over-correcting. He was mad about the non-call from last game and over-corrected today, without perspective of who was on the field / state of the team.1st call: Complete silliness for the situation of game and field position. Super Dumb. No need to take the risk and gift points to the Rams up 10. Was a long Tush Push needed there. Luckily the D bailed us out.2nd call: I was on the 'Take the points' side and going up 13. Key to the rationale being if they get 2TDs, you only need a FG and not a TD. You are playing with O missing all their best players. But I can more easily understand the justification for this than the above because if you take the FG, you are letting the Rams set up in much more advantageous field position to get 1 of those 2 TDs. A TD there gets close to ending the game by making it a 3 score game with downside being to leave them 98 yards to go and backing your D to make a stop there. You want to end the game there and not have to rely on your broken offense to put together another drive if they do get a couple of TDs which they ended up doing and the O proved entirely useless. I might not agree with it but I can understand the logic somewhat.I know this will be unpopular because a lot of folks tend to judge the decision to go for it based on the eventual outcome but in summary - I am more made about him going for the first one, and less so the second one.

October 5Oct 5 This is apparently what BG said about Lane Johnson. We should probably pump the brakes on what aggregator Twitter accounts/random idiots on Twitter say for clout.

October 5Oct 5 As I said multiple times in the offseason, their biggest problem is a lack of talent on offense and the enormous amount of salary cap invested into that limited talent. They have so much money wrapped up in Hurts, Lane Johnson, Dickerson, Jurgens, Barkley, Devonta Smith, Mailata. And, right now, only the last 2 are performing at an appropriate level. And, sadly but perversely fortunately, they have absolutely no one on offense that needs a contract extension. So it’s going to be progressively feasible to keep guys. They’ll dunk their money into their corners and then will have to carpet bomb the offense with new draft picks as the aforementioned players come off the books. Problem is they started that with the 2026 draft and those two don’t exactly look like the foundation of a future SB offense.

Hurts is nothing more than a game manager and a poor one at that. Let me ask you this, would you give Hurts another contract extension?

However, it's honestly insane that you'd say he's a poor game manager given our two runs in 2022 and 2024. That screams a level of bias that undermines the credibility of everything else you have to say.

October 5Oct 5 As much as I love BG, I think it’s kind of bush league how he, at times, runs his mouth and plays into the gossip/drama. Whatever Lane is going through is his battle and doesn’t need to be laid out there.

October 5Oct 5 Frankly, I think any head coach of the Eagles that the fans don't adore probably needs to be fired immediately just to make the environment of football in Philadelphia less toxic. If the city doesn't like you, it doesn't really matter what you do, they'll always complain about you. Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, and even Doug had moments where their decisions and bad habits cost the team games. This includes the odd history through basically the entire 2000's of the Eagles refusing to have a system to throw hot.None of them got as much heat for it. Fire him. And any time the Eagles fanbase doesn't like a coach, fire them too.I'm at the point where this is about enjoyment for me, so let's go back to the days of likable coach that doesn't win anything, where we're at least happy we stole the division from the Cowboys. Deal?

His only good complete season (regular and post season) was in 2022 and he was excellent in that super bowl. We've never seen that Hurts again. He's only gotten worse and worse. 2024 he did basically nothing but ride Saquon and that defense to a super bowl. As for his actual performance in the super bowl we won, it was also pretty good, but the Chiefs were so concerned with stopping Saquon that they forgot to do anything else. Those performances were obviously the outlier of how he usually plays.
