The difference between us is I realized his flaws are never changing, but he is still a tool that can win. They won a SB with him and should have won two. If KM or Shane were coaching this team he'd look fine. Honestly, he looked good the first half vs the Titans and played his ass off vs the Bears. There is a reason the best OL coach of all time called Nick out and was tossed off the team. He is the problem and yeah so is Howie in some regards because Nick should have been fired the moment it came down to him or Stout. No other example is needed.I realize that the team has been able to win in spite of him as well. But its wayyy too unreasonable to expect the roster to be THAT loaded every single year. This years roster can do a lot better. Id like to see Jurgens removed. Id like to see Campbell removed. Its still going to suck because of the QB. I know it can look a lot better with tons of other QBs.

McKee looked like dog crap vs DC the end of last year with a bad OL.it was 1 game in the dreaded Hurts offense. The new offense has guys running open all over the place. McKee will hit them before pressure is able to get there. Itll be similar to the Keenum performance. We had pressure all game long. Never got home because Keenum had the ball out in the right spot over and over again.

If we want to try and fix this season, or at least get answers:Cam has to be benched. Lampkin at LG, or Lampkin at C and Kendall at LG. Mailata, Kendall, Lampkin, Steen, Bell. Embrace the future.I honestly think we need to either commit to the new system or go back to the old - right now everything is too predictable. Meshing 2 systems just isn’t working at all. I just don’t think we have the personnel for the system Mannion wants to run, especially at TE.So that means scrap the under center stuff and back to gun.Not sure what else we can do.The only thing I'll say is I'd like to see Morris or Majors before Willy at G. I think he's overhyped and his smaller size could be an issue. Perhaps I'm wrong. DG coming back soon should hopefully help with the TE issues, but who knows how long he'll stay on the field

Jalen can’t run a bootleg? Thats really the story people believe?Blaming Jalen for obvious coaching decisions is getting old. Hurts isn’t prefect but he’s the only reason the team has 2 wins. They can’t run, they can’t block, and they can’t hold a lead. Even if Hurts is just mediocre, most of this crap is obviously not his fault. If anyone who’s at least decent at Madden is coaching the team yesterday they win. It’s almost impossible to blow a 10 pt lead in the rain that fast.Heck even if Cam doesnt run into Jalen they win.Bit exaggerated

He’s gonna get hit a ton. I would be surprised if McKee made it through the year with how bad the offensive line is blocking and him being a statue back there.Imo the solution to what the eagle issues are are two fold. If you want to run this Shanahan, mcvey and lafleur offense then you have to go and find a quarterback that can actually run it. Jalen hurts has a lot of good qualities about him being a quarterback. However, I do not think this offense fits what he does well. And I don’t think a leopard is gonna change it spots seven years into his career. he can win in this league, but I don’t think this is the offense that you’re gonna maximize his talent with and win big with. He would have to take a massive jump. And the only year we’ve sent it was in 2022 (4 years ago) and I’m not sure you’re getting that back especially with the current talent on this roster added in.Secondly, if you’re going to want to run this offense, then you better find a head coach that was indoctrinated in it and has a background in it. Sirianni’s background is not in this offense. Again like hurts, a leopard isn’t gonna change his spot this many years into his NFL career. He's not abandoning completely what got him to this point. He grew up with one system. He knows that system. That is what he is comfortable with. So if you want run this and you want it to be highly effective, then you better go get a head coach embraces it and highly educated in it. I’m guessing Sirianni doesn’t want to completely abandoned everything he’s known/done (especially some of it was used when he won big) and they’re trying to incorporate both. Which is pretty obvious because Fran and multiple people broken down the tape have said this. The unfortunate news for sirianni if this is the system they (howie/lurie) want to run I don’t think trying to incorporate 2 totally different schemes/system and mesh them is helping this passing game. Even dating back to 2024 they had a up and down inconsistent passing game. And at this point, I’m not sure either Sirian i has the answers to fix that or hurt has the answers to fix that.

There’s systematic communication issues with blocking assignment calls and then any subsequent protection changes. That needs to be fixed. We could trade for Nelson and put him out there and it’s not going to fix hurts not stepping into clean pockets the times the OL does hold well. Or bad blitz pick up changes being called. The plus out of yesterday was bell looked like an NFL caliber tackle.I think Cam getting benched helps a lot because the run game may improve substantially.Youre right about the blitzes. It was clear since pre-season when the #2 and #3 OL were physically dominating and yet, as soon as a blitz came they looked lost. Then again, a faster processing QB can get the ball out quicker instead of waiting, then ticking and running like a chicken without his head. Some of the OL issue is magnified by how much worse Hurts makes them look.

Stout was a good O Line coach but he had a hell of a starting line to work with for most of his tenure and the back ups were never near as well coached. I feel for the new guy because he trying to teach outside zone to players who aren't fit enough or built to play it, for Mailata it goes against everything he's ever known, it's like learning the game over again.

October 5Oct 5 Like to think ahead here with upcoming moves that should be permanent.Campbell- 🪓 in TrotterJurgens- 🪓 in LampkinEpps- 🪓 in CarterDickerson- prolonged stint on IR if not a midseason retirementLane- Hope he can come back, but think this could be a lingering issue that will put us in limbo. Bell will get plenty of snaps the rest of the year as we look towards the future.Jenkins- 🪓 Goedert in. Hopefully only 2 weeks away. Ertz as your 2nd pass catching TE, as he whips into shape and gets familiar will be nice. Stowers TBD based on health, needs more cooking time anyway. GC can stay away for now.K.Moore- Top reserve at CB/ Safety. Wish he was ready to come in yesterday and contribute. Makes plays and can catch an effin football.Up from the PS. Only a matter of time that Majors is added to roster, when Howie gets his head out of his ass and starts cutting the bottom of the roster fodder. May need Ojukwu call up as well with Fred hurt. With all that, we look ahead and try to figure out a way to beat those Jagwires! Lived in Jville for many years and that was my AFC team.

Also, you have 42-5 in games that the defense allows less than 20. I only see 38 total games that Hurts started that the defense allowed less than 20.

Knowing he has thrown INT's through the first 3 games and how Sirianni presses winning the turnover battle, besides just not being good at it, what leads to Hurts missing open receivers this bad? I know Hurt's biggest downfall has been holding onto the ball (throughout his career)And how does this affect other position groups within the film study? Has the O-Line been less than par? Yea, but when you break down the film and they see a QB that could have the ball out, how do guys inherit the blame? How does Moorehead and his receivers take blame? The seat is getting hot for Sirianni and Hurts..........I am not sure what they are practicing if it is not getting the ball out but it is clear that is not his first priority. He's too worried about not turning it over. He needs to just focus on making throws. It's clear he knows the routes but there is some part of him that just does not want to make the throw. I do think part of that is Sirianni's focus on turnovers.

They run far too many condensed looks, bringing the defense in and close to the LoS. Improved play at LG would certainly help the run game a bit. Maybe holes would open on slightly better timing. We are still going to see a low yards before contact number if they invite opposing teams to stack the box with the condensed looks.

PFF ranks Eagles OLine 4th best in pass protection time on drop backs. Ball has to be out in less than 3 in the NFL unless your QB is going to make yardage on the ground. But the offensive woes are the fault of the HC, the new OC, the OLine, OLine coach, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Meanwhile, Lemon is getting 3.8 yards of separation on in breaking routes (his primary route tree). Devonta is getting 2.7 yards and Wicks is at 2.6, regardless of route. These guys are OPEN!

And I dont accept the Lampkin is getting overrated talk right now. People were saying that during the game exactly during the time when Poona Ford got injured and they showed his measurements on the screen for some reason- 5'11''. Hes made a pretty darn good career out of being a run stuffer and actually decent pocket pusher as a 5'11'' DT. Of course he is playing on the rams this year with the arguable GOAT DT Aaron Donald who is also around that size.If the GOAT DT can be that size and build a HOF career, why cant it be that way for the other side of the line as well? Lampkin has shown he can play. He made the roster. Now you use him and find out for sure.
