The plays are there, but Hurts isn't pulling the trigger:On the play where Wicks was wide open he was pissed afterwords and threw his hands up. Definitely the one main thing that annoys me about Jalen. He’s too hesitant. Also seems a bit "cherry picky” though. Foles knows all too well that remaining a starter in the NFL isn’t easy. If it were as easy as he is saying here we’d all be doing it. This is a couple plays. They threw the ball 30 times.
October 5Oct 5 Im watching the Pat McAfee show on ESPN right now and they're showing highlights of the Eagles game and I want to vomit. on 3rd and 10 why the F are we throwing five yard hitch routes that never go anywhere. ??

Picks would likely increase if you're throwing with timing and the receiver isn't there or something else. I think a lot of us accepted that they'd increase for the sake of the new offense

October 5Oct 5 This is also important in this. If he’s not going to use his legs as much then it takes an entire dimension away from him and his throwing of the ball isn’t elite enough to make up for it.
October 5Oct 5 For those who were upset by multiple sites ranking Hurts in the 15-20 range, here is an update.Passing yards per game, 30th, between Cam Ward and Malik Willis.Completion percentage, 33rd, between Herbert and Wentz.Interceptions, 30th, between Jordan Love and Tyler Shough.YPA, 31st, between Baker and famous Jamies.Sacks, only Geno, Rodgers, Baker and Herby have been sacked more.QB rating, 24th, between Daniels and Love.Yes, yes, I know, you have to use QBR to account for his running.QBR, 13th, between Brisett and Gino.

October 5Oct 5 Apropos of nothing, I want to say this in regards to some of the inner workings of the Eagles. People seem to just state things we don't know to be true as fact whenever it fits their agenda. If you want to rip Sirianni: "He's forcing his influence on the offense and is undercutting Mannion" or "He forced Stoutland out!"If people want to rip Howie: "He just wants a head coach he can control so he can run the show"People want to rip Hurts: "He refuses to run a specific style of offense."We know none of these things to be true. None of these things have been even been reported to be true. But people keep stating these things as if they're fact. There's plenty of ammo to criticize all of these guys without baselessly stating things and making crap up. All it does is muddy the waters for legitimate complaints and discourse.

I said I don’t think he wants to run anymore. I get it because you get more banged up and injured. he had been getting banged and not making it through an entire season unscathed. But if you’re just gonna take it all away and limit it then takes away a dimension and hurts him and the offense
October 5Oct 5 1 hour ago, Diehardfan said:Houston fans who watched the playoffs last year would disagree. Hell the ones who watched yesterdays game probably would as well. You sure about that?
October 5Oct 5 Just now, Lambo said:You sure about that? That's so sad. QB1 has thrown over 300 yards twice in the last 2 seasons.... not including the 4 games they've played this year
October 5Oct 5 Still conclude that a switch of Lampkin who was elite in college in pass protection and in the preseason is a huge upgrade that can't be ignored. His technique is where it's at. On top of that, getting into the 2nd level in the running game is sweet. I do like that they used Lampkin in the backfield pulling on that Jurgens muff of Hurts. Right now they are playing 4 on 5. It's like putting Thybulle in the Sixers starting lineup back a few years ago. Throws off the whole offense and is almost insurmountable against any decent team.

Good for him!
October 5Oct 5 6 minutes ago, Diehardfan said:He sucks. Yes. Hurts wins that kid does notYou can think he sucks but pointing to yesterday is stupid. He had a 68% completion percentage, 347 yards, 2 TD’s, no turnovers, 2 sacks and a 126.7 passer rating. Maybe if his defense didn’t give up 34 points, 28 which were in the second half, he’d win too
October 5Oct 5 12 minutes ago, Diehardfan said:He sucks. Yes. Hurts wins that kid does notHurts biggest talent is being good in the biggest games. Unfortunately, not all games are the biggest games, and getting there usually requires finding some way to not let him try to be the reason we actually got there. Once you get there though, few people are better.
