Kendall has played pretty well. Bell will get there. I like Steen but not sure if Howie will bring him back. Both G spots will be a big question in the offseason. Lemon is involved and getting open but the sheet bag we have at qb isn't seeing him/ throwing it to him. But yes get those two more involved. They're the future

I’m not a big fan of Steen, I think he’s extremely average and would be disappointed if they re-signed him to anything more than a depth piece. We could do much better. I’d rather see what Morris can do. I thought Kendall did well at LG during the preseason. So if Lampkin can prove to be a good center then that may be a good option moving forward. I’d also promote Jake Majors because he was showing some promise as well

That’s not drawn to scale, only Willie is the right size.

As we enter the fire sale discussion, let’s at least TRY to recognize the cap implications because of how Howies "NO DOWNSIDE” structuring rolls up deferred money and, therefore, will be very difficult to move most people.

So long Lane thanks for all the great games. Thanks for freeing up another roster spot for Howie's 4th backup qb.

Lane was a warrior who put his physical and mental health on the line to compete at the highest levels of this sport for 14 years and helped bring two championships to a city that had exactly zero before he joined this team to become one of, if not the best, OL to ever wear the uniform. If he explained the situation and expressed his concerns, which it sounds like he did, then the FO had opportunities to make contingency plans ahead of time. He gave it his best shot but just didn't have it in him anymore. He owes absolutely nothing to any of us as fans after all that he's already given.

And for anyone bashing him for this, I can't even begin to understand their thought process for how they got there. It's honestly equal parts confusing and sad that someone could even have such a perversely selfish reaction to something like this. They clearly have some soul searching to do, or maybe even mental health issues of their own that they need to address.

Consider source of the bashing

Russell Wilson could be of service…

You would think Majors gets signed to the 53 this week right?

We already have Wilson 2.0 on the team

This is wild..I don’t remember hearing this back then

I remember there being an altercation over him playing and his ankle. Not that level of detail though. I’m surprised Howie had the balls to say those things

Define bashing? Saying he's the best ever but that was a bleep move? Saying I don't hate the guy but he should have honored his contract and not quit on his team and the fans? Saying he should have done so in the preseason? How weak are some of you and in what world is that "bashing" a guy? They could have kept Williams or made other moves had he done so then. He's also screwing their cap from the post above. Someone can like the guy and hate an action of theirs. Calling it bashing is weak as hell and says a lot.

Then who’s better to mentor him then the original

I think we can all agree, outside wr, we're looking at a full rebuild on offense

Might be time to think about the next era. Our last one was boosted by extra picks and a coaching change. Hope we get both in 2027.

tbh I don’t think they’re completely set at wide receiver either. You have lemon, Smith, but I think wicks contract is only really like two years. So you can probably add to that room. But yeah, running back they need to completely rebuild in a year after Barkley is gone. Offensive line they need to rebuild. Tight end they need to completely rebuild. And the quarterback position they’re gonna have to find one. It’s kind of why I said the other day, they might trade some guys people expected them to keep. Cause they’re gonna need the draft picks with how many holes they have and needing to get a quarterback if Jalen hurts isn’t the guy.

I'd go rook. Let him learn on the job. If we were 4-0 or 3-1 and looking good, I'd say go with experience, but I don't want to put Fred Johnson in just to try and force a 7 or 9 win season.

Isn't Fred hurt as well?

I think there is more to this story. I have no doubt something is going sour on this team.
