He was running for a nomination.  If Republicans had any integrity they would have simply said he didn’t represent the values of the party, and removed him from consideration; any political party can exercise that right at any time.

Instead, they saw that he drew in delegates to the party and ****d themselves out to him — and continued that same course for 5 more years, to their own detriment as a party.

I think socialism isn’t far from tribal society, so I would have to disagree that it is a western creation. That is why the Viet Nam war was lost before the first bullet was fired. Folks in villages pretty much sharing didn’t really embrace the return of the colonialist French or the Americans trying to support the puppet government in opposition to the hero from WWII in opposing the imperialist Japanese.  People in the countryside that were interested in the direction of the country tended to be Viet Cong and the disinterested that wanted to just live their lives tended toward siding with their neighbors not the Americans.

People like to rail against socialism, but you dare not take away their Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Farm Bill, Wall Street bailouts, or any number of other socialist programs.

I think the Marshall Plan was solely western European countries.  I think that says a lot about the lessons that were learned from WW1 but it was aid that also went beyond just Italy and West Germany.  It was in contrast to the plan enacted in the Soviet Bloc which essentially made those countries.  Japan's recovery and reformation actually involved a significant restructuring of their laws and civil institutions including expanding the rights to vote and creating Constitutional rights.  They also redistributed land to more people and enacted a number of labor law reforms to protect workers.

Yup Fraley got abused the whole game which led to Andy going with a bigger Center the following year in Jamal that could handle NTs lining directly over them. 

Seymour was a DE it was Wilfork that wrecked Fraley.

Yeah not entirely sure how I feel about Avery moving to LB. Wonder if he will be a situational pass rusher? Time will tell. Also excited to see Davion with a year under his belt to see if we have anything at all there.
