It depends what we do with 37 and Ertz. If we can recoup some of that back, then it's good board manipulation. We also have an extra 1st + 2nd next year to replenish the roster.

They brought in tons of guys — Alshon, Goedert, JJAW, Jackson, Reagor, Sanders, Blount, Ajayai, Howard, and so on to a team that already had Ertz, Sproles, etc.

It’s not like Smith can’t gain weight in the NFL.

I feel confident saying without a doubt , gints would have drafted Smith  , I thought WO for them from the start , all the talk about DL was just that , talk

That's the positive spin for sure.   I'll give props when I see Smith stay healthy.   He's got talent, there's no denying that.

Possible. However I think the Giants had that trade offered to them with the contingent that if Smith was off the board they would do it. I think if Smith was on the board they would’ve taken Smith and the Bears would’ve had to try to trade with somebody else to move up to get Justin fields.

I don’t disagree but it is gettleman so it makes sense that he would do something dumb like that. There’s been rumors from all the Giants beat writers (Lombardo, raanan have for weeks now said) that they really loved Smith.

Look at his frame. He’s not gaining much weight. Just doesn’t have the genetics for it. Just doesn’t have the bone structure to ever have decent musculature for his height by NFL Sanders.

That’s the knock on him. That’s why you can get him at 10. If he were 200 pounds instead of 170, he’d probably have been the first WR off the board.

This guy is elite at every level. Elite person too. This is one of the best eagles picks in freaking years. I've never been more happy that Howie went and moved up for him. He is best at moving around the draft. 

We did that Fletcher Cox. That worked out.
