I think there is merit to evaluate whether a team is using it's draft resources appropriately based on available information at the time.

Are they reaching?  Missing out on value opportunities?

Even if Reagor ends up in the HOF and Jefferson doesn't, the process failed at the time.

If that happens, I'll eat Oddball's tank.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Brady was using that example in his complaint of the new rule

Irony of ironies, because NE did that on a couple of occasions to get trick plays with bizarre formations and Brady was throwing to a normally ineligible player, that reported eligible.   Most recently, I forget which team it was, but it was a big important game, and NE was trailing, they ran that for the go-ahead TD in the 2nd half.  Something like a 50 yard TD or something.   (This was about 3 or 4 seasons back now, I think.)

I thought I would like it but now that it's real I hate it.

I like college guys having whatever number they want and once they make it to the NFL they "graduate" to professional numbers.

well, it didn't always work that way either.   Otto Graham wore #60.   Marion Motley wore #76.

The NFL got their 17th game, so they’ll back the players on peripheral issues.

I agree, but I hardly consider practice 'peripheral'.

Sanders was joking

Turns out he was.  Others have changed though.  Slay is different, whole big batch of rookies coming in.  It will take an adjustment period.   AND, with any player wearing any number they choose, that will limit the options, meaning I'll need to have a roster handy to check instead of process of elimination.

I'm sure clubs will hold off on the single digits.  Could you imagine if 1-19 were already taken and then the team drafts a new QB, then what?

How on earth did we not sign any of the good UDFA corners? We have like three roster locks at the position.

I personally agree with you, but conpared to things that impact revenue, the NFL does.

This never gets old.  Man he dodged a bullet there.

Maybe whoever said the other day that Howie wants a bad defense, so we can see what our offense can do, but still lose games and tank, was right..?

She allegedly had an affair with Golden Tate and then her and Wilson divorced and Wilson married Ciara

Don't know if she got anything in the divorce though

Never understood why people rate drafts too early. Lets come back to this in 2-3 years.

I couldn't agree more. Giving draft grades and saying which teams had the best and worst drafts the day after the draft is the most unnecessary and stupid waste of time.

That was me.    Best way to evaluate Hurts without hurting draft position, without making it super obvious.   Sure, we lost 65-52.  But, Hurts was unstoppable.

Trouble is... I don't think that our owner knows what the word 'unstoppable' actually means.  753132894_ScreenShot2021-05-02at7_17_11PM.png.a4c8612889f04fdbdd0dba95768aa23b.png

Why do you pick a teams record before season , or guess who wins a game , it’s a stupid waste of time , just let game play out

Yeah, I loved the unstoppable comment in the wake of leading us to 0 points.

But real talk, if we can get up into the top 5, we have a chance at a top CB next year, or QB if we need one, and then address CB with one of our next potentially two first rounders. I don’t hate it, in theory. I couldn’t care less about winning this year, I just want to figure out QB.

Based on that reasoning, why talk about a game beforehand at all? Why not let it just play out? As Mike said, it's fun for people to see how they do predicting. It's entertaining to see how one's predictions will fare against someone else.

If the goal is to tank, not getting any CBs is one way to do it.
