I'm going to tell you my perspective.  Nothing will ever get worse than January 2003 loss to Tampa for me. I was freezing my ass off at that game and Andy threw in a poor coaching performance in a season that I legit think we has the best team.

3 times I felt we had the best team.. 1980, 2002 and 2017.   80 I was too young, the city had 4 teams make the finals and the Phillies just won a WS months earlier.     2017 we won.    The other years even with our success, I didn't think we had the best team. Rams were better, Patriots and other top AFC teams were better.  Buddy's years our NFC was stacked, and the 49ers were better.

But in 2002, we were the best team.  McNabb 's foot was absolutely a factor. Andy got out coached.  But nothing will ever be that low again for me as a sports fan.  Just turned 30, last championship was 83 Sixers when I was 10.  

So don't fear a loss anymore. Can't get worse than that for me.  First time in my adult life I felt we were the best, 20 year drought about to end...and that loss.  After scoring first.   Awful!!  

Having anxiety from Gannon? ..F#$% Gannon, he has no impact on my life.  If he fails so be it, but I'm not afraid it's going to happen. 

QBs getting injured. Jerome passing. Reggie leaving as first FA. On and on….I’d what it is….but feels like we’ve gotten more than our fair share of tough breaks. Been hard being a Eagles fan.

Cap management puts you in a position to spend.    We have been in that position, barring last year.  Dallas has not been able to spend. 

It's really nothing more than that one aspect... my point.  

I'm not comparing drafts..coaching ..who has the better cheerleaders.. nothing else...EXCEPT CAP MANAGEMENT.  For all your Cowboys success, they have not achieved anything because they were good at writing contracts.  That part ,the Eagles have clearly done better.  It's not even debatable being Dallas can't sign anyone for years and had to release guys due to money this year.

Been fun being an Eagles fan.  The hard is what makes it great! 

For me Buddy era was the best... not because he was a great coach...but because the competition in the NFC East was elite...best division play of all time IMO...between Washington 82 and Dallas 95.... 8 SB wins in the division.  Throw in the 85 Bears and those 49er teams...that was great ball.   

No offense to Andy....much like his AFC West opposition... nobody is going to remember those NFC east squads from 2001-04.    

Much more fun when the competition is elite.

They did terrible because they were busy with a good team winning more than us. But we could spend tomorrow’s money better to achieve less wins. That’s seems to be the results I see. They just been held back by terrible HC. Still won more games during that time frame even still.

But we have more money now since we dumped Wentz and they are paying Dak. Is that your point?

I’ve done this for both of you now multiple times. If it still hasn’t stick it never will. Oh well. Key was get a top ten pick in 2023 out of the deal. Saints need to close that deal for us.

Cap management, it's not close.   You are talking about a team that has not advance further than us since 2016.  Maybe if they could manage the cap and write contracts like most teams are doing, they could have signed a few free agents and advanced further?

Don't you put more importance on playoffs than regular season???  You sure don't act like it when it comes to comparing us and Dallas.    But I guess you aren't a prisoner of certain ideas. Again for fifty times. Dallas HC been terrible. They were the best team in the league for a good portion of the season. Yet didn’t win a playoff game. Is that A) because contract writing is so terrible or B) because their HC is terrible. The rest of the world knows this answer. But blame the lack of personnel in Dallas last year for zero postseason victories. They just weren’t good enough to possibly win a single playoff game. All because they stink at contracts.

Don't pay Sanders...don't draft RB with first pick... could care less how we replace him.  It's committee approach.  Not investing top ten money in RB...which 7 million is top 10 money.

  Pretty simple answer here. IT is the contracts. How would Dallas be had they been able to keep Cooper, La'el Collins, Conner Williams, Randy Gregory and Chidobe Awuzie. All Players that probably would have put the Cowboys in 1st place had they been able to manage the Cap better. McCarthy has won a SB last I checked. Not sure many other Head Coaches can say the same. Also, their DC is one of the best in Football.

Giants have 2 legit running threats. Barkley and Jones. Stuff Barkley and keep a spy on Jones. Dean? This would effectively keep the Giants offense off the field and Hurts on it. Game should be easy if they can manage to do this. Giants are on the decline and I can see a easy victory.

McCarthy just pissed ARod off endlessly because he’s so freaking stupid. But most saw Dallas as the best team in the entire league last year at some point. Many power rankings and crap had them tops for more than the first half of the season. But sure they just couldn’t win a playoff game last year because they didn’t have enough talent. Best team in the league….but couldn’t win a single playoff game. Coach completely sucks. Just that obvious. I love it. Him and Garrett been wasting away that franchise fir a long time. Been good for me. Unfortunately even with terrible HC they’ve had a better record than us from 2018 to 2021.
