Yeah build through free agency.  Sounds like a winning formula.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Let’s do a "best shape of his life” pool. Whose the first player to report to camp to get that status. Rules are simple. Pick a player. Any coach, player himself, other player, beat writer or anonymous source that says that phrase first describing said player wins.

I’ll start, Jalen Reagor.

Nate Herbig.

Absent the 22 now 24 women that have made sexual assault allegations, I don’t think anyone would question the trade. In any event, I don’t know what kind of influence you think fans have over what moves teams make.

It's the main hurdle, but I would question the trade.

We got Hurts, who I believe in. So I'd rather keep the picks and build the team with them over trading for Watson.

He has already shown to be a diva. Yes the Jaguars are a mess and sure he wants out - but who says he ain't gonna pull off the same s*** with us eventually?

Assuming we don’t trade them all away for Watson I’m fine with that.

There is no way they would do all three 1st rounder picks in any situation. Im sure if they made a trade there would be conditional picks in there based off what happens in 2022 and his status.

Me personally, I think the Texans are in a no win situation. How many teams say they want one thing only to take a lot less? Happens all the time. I think in the end it comes down to one 1st in 2022, one conditional 1st in 2023(A lot of options in that condition) and could be an additional mid rounder in 2022.

However, i still would not do it. Im sure another team would offer more but I;d offer a 1st and mid rounder and sit on it at least till the trade deadline to see what Hurts has with a new staff and full offseason under him. I'd be afraid Watson would not get along with Howie and jump ship or request a trade out in a few years. Wasted picks if you as me in the long term.

Saw this trade scenario

Jalen Hurts, Zach Ertz, a 1st, and a 3rd for Deshaun Watson

Congrats on surviving the offseason, you guys.

It's OK, you were close. You only missed by the Gulf of Mexico.

What are you talking about? You think I'm a cowboys fan lol?

No, I'm an Eagles fan in a betters mentality. I give props where its needed. Cowboys are gonna be good this year. Eagles are gonna blow. It's depressing.

That’s what everybody says every offseason.

And then it’s the other way around. That’s what you get when your team is just a bunch of thugs.

Do the Eagles make Watson a team captain or does he have to earn it first, and become C next season?

It depends on what word you use for the C.  He certainly comes across as a big C doesn't he?

Andre Dillard. Derek Barnett. I feel a lot of hype is coming for both guys to defend Howie’s drafting.

Yup that’s what i said

meanwhile keep coming back with your argument they don’t have the cap space in order to trade for Deshaun Watson even if he restructures and still go out and sign guys.

Oh I'm sorry.  Build through free agency and mid-round draft picks*

And I never said they can't trade for Watson due to cap space.  They will find a way to get him on the team and work the cap to fit him but it isn't going to leave them with a lot of room to work with even after a restructuring (which he will also likely push for an increase in pay).

It's always an older player.

So likely someone along the offensive or defensive line.  Brooks or Graham.

That formula doesn’t work when you suck at drafting

You know what really doesn't work then? Ramping up the difficulty by giving that GM less high value draft picks and less cap space.

And Roseman is middle of the road as a drafter.  He's not great but he also isn't as awful as people like you make him out to be.  Also very funny how someone like you who feels Roseman can't do any right whatsoever is suddenly going to be able to build a team with limited resources but he will only be able to do so once he has limited resources.

Yeah, but now we’re taking guys who are hyper competitive Rock-Paper-Scissor players.

How do you think we’re going to get our franchise QB? San Francisco just used three No. 1s to get Trey Lance, a good but not elite QB prospect.
