Derek Carr is one of those QBs that I don’t think is good enough to win a Super Bowl but you’re stuck with him because there also won’t be anyone better available. A slightly more talented Kirk Cousins

Haven't seen one of those in these parts in a while.

Want to talk about a franchise that is a QB factory… drafted brees. Drafted Philip rivers (technically Eli Manning). And then drafted Justin herbert. Come a long ways since drafting Ryan leaf. 

While he was on the losing end tonight, Trevon Moehrig made some nice plays out there for the Raiders.

Was banging the table for the Eagles to take him in the second round last draft.

I thought they were going for it on 4th again but it went to commercial so I guess not

I understand the rules all changed to favor offenses, but the things I took for granted in the 90s and early 2000s are real.  I remember laughing out loud every time an opponent attempted a deep pass with Troy Vincent, Bobby Taylor, and a young Dawk in the secondary.

I’d probably take carr. Cousins stats always feel hallow. Cousins also has had really good weapons in Minnesota when you compare it to carr the past couple years. Could argue the raiders have been a dysfunctional mess most of his time there. Cousins went to Minnesota after an nfc title game loss and they’ve regressed each year.
