It doesnt get much better than that. Any coordinator is gonna look a lot better with those 2 added to our secondary, and a pass rusher to boot.

I'd be willing to suffer with Hurts for another year if it means I get to watch a competent defense with promising young talent.

Haven’t heard of Jermaine Johnson yet in anything draft related, let alone first round. Not to say he isn’t capable or talented, don’t know anything about the guy. 
 

But wouldn’t care cause Stingley and Hamilton would be incredible.

I dont know about the pass rushers yet. Other than Thibodeaux went 1st overall in that mock.

Id like an LB, or DE. Know it wont be an LB so Im good with whoever that Johnson guy is for now. 

s, cb, de in round 1. Maybe LB round 2. QB round 3? Then all OL.

I’ve read consistently that other first round DE guys that project well in the NFL are Jackson from USC, Karlaftis from Purdue, and Sanders can’t remember his school. 
 

Im ok with putting off QB for another year of the QB prospects don’t look the part. 
 

Here’s a mock I put together last night on TDN simulator, I really liked it. We had 7th overall & 10th overall pick. Colts pick was a 2nd. Traded down twice from 7 to pick up Patriots 2023 1st (I know it says 2022, blame that on TDN), and a 2022 2nd. Then traded up from 39 to 31, giving up a future 4th and current 5th. Train of thought with Linderbaum is he’s starting center, keep Dickerson at guard. Trade down again in 2nd to recoup a day 3 pick

I’m Not really giving up on the season, I’m just a huge NFL draft nerd and love talking draft anytime of the year. With all the Eagles picks this year is bit more exciting. Besides nothing NFL related happening today so gotta find something to talk about

Since we’ve thrown in the towel and moved onto the draft, are any QBs projecting too be top 5 picks? Also how are the 1st round LBers?
 

I was a fan of Gardner, Elam, and Booth when looking ahead last draft. Hamilton would be the biggest difference maker IMO. Don’t love the DEs after Thibadeaux but also need to think about replacing Cox.

I'm hesitant on any FSU DE, just so many have busted in the NFL.  Granted they were all under different schemes.  Depends who else is on the board but this would be nice.

Right now, no QB project to be a sure fire 1st round guy like past years. But 2nd half of college season & combine could help them get there. Most likely these guys will be overdrafted based on how many QB needy teams there will be.

Smith’s career was unfortunate. Without his injury he could of become a premier defensive player

Not sure 56% of the snaps is barely playing but it's certainly down from previous years. It's just surprising that they would release him now but I guess he's been worse than I thought.

Getting wrecked in the run game totally has me wanting an inside-out draft. Leal, Green, Georgia DT/Bama LB, S. Given that the DC wouldn’t come off two-high until the game was over - I’m not even sure CB is premium position here.
