F Jaylon Smith.  In case some of you forgot, he's the dbag who took a headbutt cheap shot on Mailata because he was frustrated getting his weak ass thrown around by the big guy.  And former Cowgirls are usually toxic aholes here or trash.  Pass.

That's all there is to fix?

Well in that case I can be fixable and play LB

Cowboys was getting like 7-8 yards per rush on 1st down consistently.  That was not a good game from the defense at all.

No, it was just better than it was against KC.

<INSERT EAGLES LINEBACKER>'s struggle with key-reading, run fits, coverage, hand usage in block shedding, and other things the past few seasons have been alarming.

How are you going to go after anyone living in the past?  You're obsessed with Foles.

My response was to him calling me out for living in the past. It was a "hey pot, meet kettle” comeback. But you’re too dense to understand that I’m sure.

Plus I'm just sick of Jaylons

Guarantee he goes to Washington.  Players with a big name almost always stay in division when they are cut.

'Put me in coach, I'm ready to play...'

So to sum everything up from today ( @4for4EaglesNest )303931EE-C00B-415A-9C30-4C95D9850D9D.thumb.jpeg.723ed6cea387bbabf5b7a2789749ba57.jpeg

Jaylon Smith is the type of guy to sign with Baltimore and become the next TJ Watt.

Ok. So as bad as Jaylon Smith is, he’s still better than any LB on our roster. Maybe he’ll be motivated to do better. If he tackles a Cowboys RB even once, he’s worth the investment, since none of ours could.

I'm not over the top on Hurts as he left a bunch of routine plays on the field, specifically in the RZ - but I looking at the rookie QBs (some with quite a high pedigree) and he seems to be doing OK in comparison.

I think people forget this sometimes that he's only started 8 games in the NFL. He's still a rookie really and he's doing a good job out there overall. Sure he's missing on plays and sure there's things that he does need to work on but that's true of every rookie.

Can we stop with the "rookie" nonsense?  He's not a rookie.  A rookie has had one, very limited offseason to get ready for his first NFL season, having spent half of the offseason prepping for the draft.

He's a second year player.  Meaning he's had a full offseason after his rookie year to work on his game and prepare for the NFL season. He is a guy with limited starts.  He is also in his first season in a new system as well, but he is not a rookie.  Last season he was a rookie.  But those 4 games played at the end of his rookie season are a huge leg up on all of the true rookies, because he got to see NFL defenses up close, see the speed of the game, feel the hits.  And he had real film of himself out there in real NFL games to study to work to improve upon.  A rookie does not have that.  He's a young QB, with limited experience, but very much not a rookie.

I'm against signing Smith. We aren't going anywhere this year. We should be saving cap not wasting it

Yup. Unless it's a vet minimum deal, pass.

Mailata only started 4 more games than Hurts. Guess he’s a rookie too. Hope he plays Sunday to keep his OROY campaign going

Still no word on Lane Johnson ??  If it was injury, covid, PED's we would know by now.

The list is longer than that.  Boston Scott, Andre Dillard, Josh Sweat, etc.

WOAH

PEDs is a 2 season ban for him.  Not good.

Pats and Gilmore couldn't agree on a contract restructuring, and Pats are too up against the cap to keep him.

Yep.  It has to have something to do with family.  No other explanation.

I give it a 1% chance it has to do with something else, only because every time Sirianni talks about it he comes off as pretty uncaring. I know it’s very unlikely but if it was family related you think the head coach would be more caring or say something in his PC other than "no update, it’s a personal matter.”
